Then muffin. I was hoping for maybe a wristwatch.

Given the standard baker's dozen conversion, it was probably more like 6,500 muffins. Thank god Grohl isn't a lady, or it'd be 19,500.
Hmm. Which arm?
Yeah, not even Box Office Mojo considered this worth an article, and that's literally the only kind of article they write.
A coworker who went to see the first one on opening day gave the following review, which works (apparently) as both a positive and a negative review, and has so far applied to every movie in the franchise:
-Gene Shalit
I rewatched BvS as well recently, and couldn't believe how long it took Diana to decide to join the third act. We see her checking her email, packing her suitcase, etc, and there's huge shit going on which she can see on the television. Agree she felt like a very different character.
I watched the unaired pilot for David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman this week, and that was far and away the worst adaptation possible. For people who were upset about Superman snapping someone's neck, or Batman killing a bunch of thugs, Kelly has Adrienne Palicki's Wonder Woman throw a pipe straight through a guy's neck…
He'll just kick over the lantern on his coffee table, one assumes.
I was going to watch this for Alison Brie, who I loved on Community, but seeing that Betty Gilpin seems to have such a large role makes me look forward to it even more. She was so fantastic in her brief moments on American Gods this year.
There were at least five deaths, and that's if you're only counting people with the surname Stussy.
I assumed that's why she ended up dying, since Ray Wise had given her a blessing against Varga (and she was relatively untouchable when executing that plan) but not Emmit.
You know, I truly can't decide if I liked it or not, but I'm sure I'll be thinking about it for a few days, which is ultimately more than I can say for the seasons I liked better overall.
My read on the grade is that it did succeed fairly well at being what it was trying to be. It just happens to fall outside of the things Handlen likes about tv. The rule has always been to grade a show against itself, so to me there's no disparity between the grade and the review. It did an excellent job at being…
"…in order to nearly direct a Young Han Solo movie…"
"Surf City" was Jan & Dean, you monster!
I thought I saw something that indicated she has to try and "pass" as human because at the end of last week's episode, there was a picture of her in full zombie mode on the cover of the local alt-weekly.
I've been stockpiling them because there have been too many shows to keep up with, but now that network, The Americans, Better Call Saul, The Leftovers, American Gods are completed, and soon iZombie and Fargo will be wrapping up, I'll be diving into it soon. Glad to see from the comments here that it will be worth…
I'd pay money to see the commercials he'd talk them into letting him shoot.
The best-case scenario is that his health took a dramatic turn, so they wanted to get rid of him before he died (because not even North Korea wants an American to die in their custody), but he lapsed into a coma and died before they could get it done.
