GNR's career is only 5 years older than Radiohead. (granted it was pretty much over by then, but still Radiohead is pretty old)

Actually the death of the music industry has actually kind of worked out for some of those older acts. I'm always surprised when I see like Third Eye Blind still near the top of festival billing.

Ahem, ahem Radiohead is now the older act

I remember book stores and that's right they use have bathrooms in the store!

Other on the other hand I feel like I've never seen so much advance press about a book deal. Do people not remember how 2 Live Crew went platinum?

Ridley Scott has a point. If you look at the Box Office top ten for 2016, aside from Star Wars, it was all either comic book adaptations or animated anthropomorphic talking animal movies. Basically it was all kids stuff. The average American movie-goer is either a child or an arrested adolescent and studios are now

You are very wrong about Gremlins.

Agreed, Bad Moms may be the worst one of the year. If Transformers wasn't already a franchise they'd call it Big Robot Smash.

Looking forward to "A Madea Boxing Day" sweeping the BAFTAs

This is still circulating? Any update on that Balloon Boy story?

You know I've been too mean to Gwyneth Paltrow over the years… she seems pretty down to earth.

"Achub y Morfilod" (Save the Whales)

What seems to be disappearing, or at least declining in quality and popularity, are mainstream adult-oriented films. You look at the top films this year and so far everyone of them is either a comic-book movie or an animated talking animal movie. Live action Comedies, Thrillers, Action films aimed at adults all seem

Yeah it went off about the same time as Seinfeld, to much less fanfare of course… even then I remember thinking I thought it had been cancelled five years earlier.

Cindy was the best! I used to lose to her on a pretty regular basis at our local pub quiz. She had a great sense of humor and of course knew a lot about everything. She will be missed.

I thought Lecy Goranson, aka 1st Becky on Roseanne, would have been great as Harding at the time.

LOL I forgot there was a Snowbird in Alpha Flight, god they just went with all the Canadian clichés didn't they?

Puck will be singing "Snowbird" at the funeral.
