I've only heard "Memory" but I think I've played it two dozen times or so by now. Its a great violent femmes song. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this album.
And "corny traveling-carnival music" can describe sooo many of their songs. I don't even think thats a bad thing in their case.

LALALALA - not reading any reviews

"new" as in a different person each week.

Fitz is the most friend zoned character in the history of television.

If you can't get into Tom Waits I highly recommend listening to his early years stuff. It will make you change your mind! His voice is complete different - no trace of the trademark gravely growl.

Is Sleater-Kinney super popular now because of Portlandia? I grew up in Portland and remember seeing this band multiple times at the standard smallish venues. I just always assumed they were more or less a local band that didn't have much draw outside of the pacific northwest. Was i wrong that entire time?

I only watched one or two episodes of hannibal but I thought it was pretty terrible. guess I'll maybe give it another chance? And the good wife seriously has no business being as good as it is. Its way too good for network tv. So consistently tight and engaging. My #1 pick though would have to be Fargo. That was an

Not that I stay up and watch any of these shows anyways but who the hell is James Corden and I sure will miss watching the occasional interview with Craig Ferguson.
He was exactly the right amount of weird and I was always slightly amazed that the network gave him a show in the first place.

My own fault for so stupidly browsing AV club before seeing the episode, but you jerks could have at least put a *major spoiler* tag at the beginning of your review. Beth's dead was like the third sentence! sonofabitchgoddammit.

Aubrey Plaza doesnt seem to be making the best career choices.

dammit, why did I glance at this page before watching the episode!

well… I made it a whole 10 minutes into the show before determining that I'll never watch it again.

did critics like the first dumb and dumber? I feel like these kind of movies by default never get a decent rating.

is this a step back? Network TV is so "blah" now.

Kristen Bell should have been the final guest. She has some of the best segments of all time on this show.

I just read that the actress who plays Beth is 29. That's like older than luke perrry in 90210

I've never watched Arrow, but am enjoying the Flash. The Felicity Smoak character is great! bummed to find out she belongs to a different show…. they need to get her to come over to the Flash full time. Her and Flash dude have great chemistry together.

I think its kind of interesting watching these kinds of things now and noticing how times have changed. Editing all this stuff out isnt the answer. Just let it be. Hell, I watched Eddie Murphy Delirious a couple weeks ago and I was floored by how dated it was. So many homophobic jokes that just wouldn't fly today… he

reminds me of the kid that played Shane Botwin on weeds. Watching him act in later episodes when he became an adult was painful.

Marvel is getting way too close to over saturation. They're probably already there. The movies are starting to feel very formulaic. More TV shows too? Meh. draw that shit out. keep us interested.
