There is no way person like Patrick could be fine with an open relationship, and Kevin knows it very well. Patrick broke up with him because he was uncomfortable with the idea of cheating. I suspect Kevin in his mind was pretty sure he is going to be the only one enjoying the openness of their relationship.

KKK butt orgy. I died.

I think he left him, yeah. At least he understands they need to put some distance between them.

Kevin played Patrick like a violin by the end, when he realised that fight got out of his control and he was losing him.

I also should say - and I don't know if it's allowed here - but recaps of Looking in Slant Magazine also deserve your attention.

I agree with every word that you said. I also add that it all goes down to the fact that they don't know and don't understand each other AT ALL. It was painful and brutal and both sides had fair points, and both were exposed in such a ugly way.

It's not about open relationship at all.

I love it so much. It was pefect finale. I disagree with the idea of this development being unexpected, or the idea of assassination of Kevin's character. Writers were sawing seeds of this final fight from the season premiere and Kevin's grumpy "I hope it's gonna worth it". People said this season didn't have a story

Yeah, right. Patrick is not a horrible person, he is a person who made a mistake. But most importantly - I think at this point anyone who watch the show can see that Patrick can come to Richie and say "Well, I just shot a nun, drowned ten fluffy puppies and ate a baby panda", and Richie will say "Oh Pato" and just

I think it's obvious that Patrick didn't think a lot about what the hell is really going on in his relationship with Kevin. I mean, I am not arguing with the fact that Kevin is a cheater, though Patrick is more than just a sidepiece for him. I am just stating the fact that Patrick didn't think. At all.

He never knew Kevin is a serial cheater.

Well, mostly because I consider Owen a secondary character. And also because I was really offended with this bullshit about me having problem with asians on TV or thinking that show is done with casting asians, which i never said or thought.

I reacted to your first statement, which is "If they go for S3, can we please get some Asian people on the show?" That was factually wrong. That's it.

I named this character. Character who was on the show since pilot and till the end of second episode. It's Owen. He doesn't have a separate storyline fom Patrick, but same can be said about Richie or Kevin. Does it means it's enough? I never said it. I don't think so. I just corrected your wrong statement about lack

Once again, you are putting in my mouth words I never said. Where did I said I don't want asians in the mix of characters? Where did I said Looking's job is done with casting of asians? I said they have Asian on the show. And it's a fact.

Look, I get it, but you are just factually wrong over and over again. We know his girlfriend, we know his sense of humour, we know he is mad at Patrick for lying to him about Kevin, we know he doesn't like Kevin and think he appropiated other's ideas. And it's just that season.

You are putting words in my mouth. I never said I have a problem with seeing gay men on TV. I said you are wrong and this show has asian character. And it's not an extra or episodic character, Owen was on the show since the start. He definitely had more screen time than, for example, Malik.

What should he do?

Yeah, you don't watch the show. He was in both seasons in several episodes.

Owen, Patrick's co-worker and friend.
