It's funny, but I appreciate Looking even more after watching Cucumber, Banana, Tofu. I don't really liked it at all. But one thing is obvious - we need more LGBT shows, and not only shows who feature gay character to be more diverse or edgy or to attract more attention, but genuine and honest LGBT shows. Because

Thank you. So cool to hear that. One good thing you got out of smoking.

Wow, Patrick in the park was genuinel shitty behaviour. Before wedding - no way. What's wrong with saying Stay! in stressful situation?

That's so great! You should know people all over the world watch and love your show and appreciate all of your work.

I think weddings are extremely stressful events, add to that stress of introducing your boyfriend to your family for a first time in your life. Patrick was under great amount of pressure, so I understand why he was so nervous. Also I see certain parallel between Richie and his weed and Patrick's mom and her weed, but

Exactly. And Agustin basically made him answer Kevin's call. Patrick was ignoring him all evening.

I am so glad that I am not the only one who obviously rewatched this show too many of times :)))

But it happened. You may think it's garbage, but it happened and it rang true for me. Richie don't want to let those relationship go.

I am starting to think you have too many feelings. You dislike this show and it's characters? Your business, I don't care. But don't push your opinion on other people. And I don't care about your critical skills in writing AV Club comments. Your perception of the writing on this show is blatantly literal and limited.

Patrick is changing and evolving in front of our eyes, and I definitely see him as a man who with more experience and growth will be able to share Richie'slife. And another thing - Patrick had sex with Kevin for a first time when he thought his relationship with Richie are over.

I definitely agree about the wedding and Richie's attitude the next day. Patrick did a lot of shit to ruin those relationship, but ruined wedding was on Richie.

I am starting to think you are incapable of understanding this show's multilayered writing. Quote from Patrick from first season - "I get tested all the time". It happened, and it doesn't fit your neat theory of Patrick being HIV-phobic. All he said to Agustin is "Why are you making everything about sex" - that's it.

To think of that, Richie's sister was disrespectful to Patrick. But I don't hold it against her.

Richie's face said that he loves Patrick with all his heart. So never say never.

His so-called sex-negativity in season premiere was not about sex, it was about his desire to runaway from sexual relationship he is scared of. He called his lover to come and fuck him against the tree - very "sex-negative", right. His so-called HIV-phobia was not about HIV, he said in first season he is testing all

For me Patrick is the reason why Looking is a great show. He is endlessly human, and subtly good and bad at the same time.

"Not in this place" moment - thank you, tumblr, because now we know it's ice cream caffee where they ate breakfast in "Looking for future", with Goonies cards.

Why is he sex negative?

He is not lecturing, he just shares his experience - same as Richie when they were together in first season.

"Let's do this" was Kevin playing with Patrick, and damn, Groff was definitely NOT playing fluttery after those words - I'd say he looked shocked and scared. I think affair is very well written. It's relatable. Maybe not for you, but I felt a lot for those characters.
