No one is ever interested in what Mike Judge does until several years later when it's suddenly a cult movie that everyone missed unless they were hip.

I heard on reddit (credible, I know) that his next movie is supposedly a horror movie. That could be interesting. I still want him to do a SciFi personally.

I really hope so. Girl, the way that last one ended…

Jesus, that narrator guy sucks so much. He pretty much scared away my fiance from reading the books. We took an 11 hour trip to see some relatives, and we plugged in Clash of Kings, and his fucking Tyrion voice made me want to drive off the road, find a deer, and be sodomized by it.

Dark Souls is a game I so very badly want to love. I just…can't. It isn't because it's too hard (it is, but I can learn) but really, as superficial as this sounds, it's because the game looks like shit. I don't know why, but I have a hard time enjoying a game touted as the best RPG ever made when it uses textures over

Well there's the Purple Wedding this season so there will be plenty of cackling at my house.

Things don't look good for Better Call Saul, then, because Gould will be calling the shots.

Can't anticipate Snowpiercer, as much as I want to, because of Weinstein.

There's no reaching Zodiac levels. PTA couldn't reach Zodiac levels.

I'm very torn. PTA, Nolan, and Fincher are all among my favorite filmmakers ever. Because of the source material, though, I'll have to go with Inherent Vice. One of my favorite books from the aughts.

I just read Gone Girl in anticipation of Fincher's movie. Also just rewatched Zodiac for the first time. That movie is so good, it makes what he's done since look like shit. The book is good, if weird (the way the story goes isn't the way a typical "pulp" novel goes, if that makes any sense) and I can't wait to see

Speaking of Jack Ryan, at my local screening of Wolf of Wall Street I saw a weird 10 minute long trailer for Jack Ryan that showed two whole scenes from the movie and then disjarringly became a normal trailer at the end. I almost thought I was in the wrong movie.

That's going to win everything, so get a bunch of tables lined up.

Bon Iver won last year (or the year before?) and Before Emma came out like 5 years ago.

I find that every single song on Strange Mercy is listenable. There aren't that many albums like that out there.

It's plenty similar, sure. There are lots of other fields like it too, I don't mean to make this problem seem exclusive to the American English Departments. Take something like American Idol to see just how delusional people are. That's actually a pretty good comparison with MFAs, because both promise fame and wealth,

That Cate Blanchett one is freaking me out.

If we're being delusional, I'd like the soon-to-be-released Mac Pro cylinder, six core version. Got some 4K video footage to edit.

I thought it was really ballsy of this show to not spell out the money moment at the end of the episode between Holt and Peralta. He asks for money to wine and dine that Asian woman, seemingly a throwaway joke, but then in the next scene he's used the money to buy a suit with a tie. At least that's how I read it. The
