"You bought her a conflict-free diamond? Boo hiss."

What is Red Bull?

Trebek completely no-sold Erica's rather sweet engagement story. Although, come to think of it, he's rather shocked that any Jeopardy contestant is married. "…And she said yes to that? Wow. Good for you!"

Damn it. Is it coming back or not?!? I can't handle all the D-R-A-M-A. Drama.

At some point the Seeso and Leesa ads on CBB started to blur together. Great mattresses for four bucks a month! Featuring all your favorite UCB bedsprings!

After he watches these episodes and has a moment of deep introspection, Dark Seth will return for the ToC.

Her name is "Skullcrusher McSelfharm."

The smile on Miranda's face made it seem like she was playing with house money and couldn't care less about "strategy" or "game theory" or "basic logic."

The buy-in of the show was that these highly contagious vampires had been plotting for decades on how to invade and infect New York. Humans had been caught unprepared and within a week the contagion had spread. The first half of season one had a great sense of dread and impending doom.

This season has been fantastic. You've got the story of Fet, the endearing exterminator turned vampire slayer, and then there's 40 minutes of fast forwarded footage.

It felt similar to season three of Orange is the New Black. No real resolution, no completed arcs, no end point. S4 of OITNB then offered all of the above, so maybe Transparent was playing the long game with a two-season arc? Or possibly it places more of a value on emotion than it does plotting.

Every character is a poorly-adjusted emotional wreck who is constantly in search of a soft place to land. Most character arcs consist of "Find new salvation. Convince myself this will change me for the better. Lie to myself. Devastating crash when I realize it didn't work. Repeat."

Bone as in, "what I have to pick with this show."

The only reason tonight was a runaway was thanks to the "Poetry 101: Fill in the Blank" category.

"Fred? Fred Schneider? It's Geldof. I need to save Africa from famine and yours was the first name I thought of."

"Oh, no one is going to get this question— Wait. Seth looks like he played Zelda a lot as a kid. He'll probably know this."

McBikesalot was actually Bill Hader workshopping a new character.

Donnie Yen.
