His first wife became a feminist who has worked with Gloria Steinem. Maybe he has a certain chelonian animal magnetism we're missing. (Although the idea that he is somehow amazingly good in bed weirds even me out.)

Some House people got elected though. Justin Amash being one.

I thought that would calm in time, but calls for violence have kind of increased.

I don't want to get into whether he is a white supremacist, but Oswald Spengler I think believed in the supremacy of whites but included Jews as whites. This is part of why, though many of his beliefs fit Nazism, the Nazis I think ultimately disliked him.

I'm still not as willing to make judgments of people I've not met like that. I started doing that because of people here and frankly life intervened and made me decide that was wrong. This is making the place a tad uncomfortable for me because I think most not only do people here make such judgments they are

You'll pretty much always get around 7% with anything. It seems like North Korea may have once had 7% approval with Republicans.

I'd like more of that. Replace stuff so people can still have things to look at in parks. And maybe even have Southern things to celebrate. (Although with Northerners should they rename the Custer and Sheridan counties? Or replace monuments to them? Sure the US won the Indian wars, but…)

Yeah. I mean I think it's pretty common they did get it at home, but there are plenty of cases that's not true.

I grant I'm more charitable to him than just about anyone here even though I re-registered as independent due to him.

“The Reform Party now includes a Klansman, Mr. Duke, a neo-Nazi, Mr.
Buchanan, and a communist, Ms. Fulani,” Trump said in his statement. “This

To return to selling overpriced semiconductors, or however he puts it, I guess.

I love history, thanks.

I remember that one too. Well at least a little.

They thought about it, but decided it was too laborious and operose to do so focused on things they found more facile and straightforward.

That sounds sensible. Sadly I think it might be difficult to find a source both sides can agree to right now. I guess one possibility is to look through the papers that didn't endorse either candidate in the 2016 election and see if there is one both sides respect at least somewhat. Maybe the Chicago Tribune? Orange

Nothing really for me tonight, but maybe I'll check the Scientology thing. I have hopes this kind of thing is really reducing their ability to get new converts, at least in this country. (Getting people to leave is trickier and to be honest I have some sympathy to people who feel they can't leave because of their
