Rocketship XM is interesting because when I watched MST I found myself almost watching the movie a bit on that one. I'm thinking there was maybe a decent movie in there they just let it wander around into a pointless and irritating place that ended bad. But some of the actors and lines weren't really terrible. And I

Get off my lawn!

I'm not sure how I feel about it compared to the SyFy episodes. I haven't watched two full episodes yet. There are things about it I like better than the Syfy eps, but things I prefer the Syfy ones. (I think, so far, the Mads in the Syfy era are funnier for me than the mads in this.)

"Shout Factory learned, almost too late, that man is a feeling creature
and, because of it, the greatest in the universe. It learned, too late
for itself, that men have to make their own way, to make their own
mistakes. There can't be any gift of perfection from outside ourselves.
And, when men seek such perfection,

That could be part of it.

After I wrote that I realized it would be Helena. My mind even briefly went to this, but with "crazy Helena" theme.

Nothing much.

It will start soon. I'll say more on the next WoT.

I had a brother who got declared dead. He got better.

I do wish Republicans went more in the direction of reforming or moderating than just "No" without any follow up plan.

I saw that elsewhere. It was, as I said, fast.

Terence Tao was a full professor at UCLA at 24. Evariste Galois died at just 21 and laid the foundations for Galois theory. Enrico Fermi submitted his thesis, "A theorem on probability and some of its applications" at 20. William Cullen Bryant published a book of satirical poems at 13. Marlowe looks to have written

Does criticizing public education have to mean criticizing its existence? I mean there are Left-wing critics of private schools who send their kids to private schools. The Right often sees this as hypocrisy, but it might be possible they are criticizing aspects of private school and not their existence altogether.

Eh any President will have some supporters. I mean that Rasmussen, which is fairly Republican leaning, gives him more disapproval than Obama ever got is pretty telling. I think I saw Gallup showing him down with Republicans to only 82%. Which is quite high, but people are really loathe to express regret for actions.

Alaska, Kansas, and North Dakota are low on that TF list though. And Oregon is way high, but Oregon sucks so there's that.

Yeah people like to act like he's this evil genius, but I have seen no evidence for that. He's partly just been lucky. He ran in a year where people were tired of conventional Republicans, but where the Democrats ran a candidate who'd been in the public eye for over 20 years and who was not just real charismatic.

"it looks like he's supported gun control, gay marriage, and both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in the past."

Even people you dislike do evolve or develop some. I think relatively few Christian conservatives these days are against working mothers. Particularly as the idea you can't be both is a factor in some abortions.

That was fast. As were the Bohemian Rhapsody references. (I deleted mine.) Maybe I should do a Samurai Jack reference instead babe. (Both robot Scaramouche and Scaramucci surprised people with their referencing the penis.)
