Actually the Gulf states do get a good deal of immigrants and I believe even from some non-Muslim nations like the Philippines.

"And it seems to me than nowadays, most people would prefer to live in "white people countries" than in any other places."

I don't watch this show, but I agree it's a weird header even if it fits the site. "How awful white people can be" might even get at some of the same thing without making it a white people=awful equation.

I think someone below maybe got at when it really imploded a bit for me and that's more when Mrs. S's Mom was the source for all the clones. I don't remember, right now, how I felt at the time but it twisted too many things together perhaps.

I was more okay with the introduction of the Castors than most, but I might agree they weren't especially well done.

Well dang. Now I'm a tad tempted to rewatch it someday. I was ten when it ended, it seems, so I should maybe remember better than I do. Although possibly I didn't understand it all at that age.

Nigeria still dwarfs it. They've got a huge amount of people, oil, and various princes. (But seriously Nigeria is a big country with many natural resources and a rich, colorful, and sometimes tragic history. The home of civilizations from Nok to Benin to the Sokoto Caliphate. The land of Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe,

"And yet, he hasn't done a movie in 20 years"

That's a good point. His organization is quite willing to use and manipulate men too if it suits them. And in this one there was poor Yannis/Janis.

Ooh. I really don't want an immortal, but that would be a kooky twist.

I'm wondering if she'd shoot to kill though. I mean she shot Helena to kill, but that was a pretty emotionally intense situation. From my memory I think many times she's more into shooting at people or shooting to wound.

40. But I'm partly going by Wikipedia descriptions.

His age story could be baloney and him still be a formidable threat. Or at least it seems like maybe you could find a way to do that.

If it had gone on much longer I might have quit, to be honest, as I am a little fatigued with it at times.

I seemed to have been about the only one who, at the time, had a problem with how rapidly everyone seemed to accept Helena.

I think it was, though I was interested he really didn't seem that put out. (I half-expected him to say "Yes, that's fine. I mean Marlene Dietrich is closer to my era then yours. And um I knew Radclyffe Hall, but don't ask too many questions about that.")

That's an interesting theory that makes a fair amount of sense.

If Tony does return maybe they should just have a man play him next time. Possibly with Tatiana dubbing the voice.

It's the last season. People are curious how it ends up.

I gathered the egg taking will be later. And they may knock her our, but I'm not sure. (Didn't someone try to harvest Helena's eggs or something? Was that the Proletheans?)
