1) Radical forms of Islam hate Russia and Putin's had some links to the Assad regime which is their enemy.

Interesting. Then flip my earlier idea around. Have the Dog sequel be super/hyper American, or non-Chinese, for their amusement. So

I think an issue might be none of us have, I'd guess, been made to feel weird or gross because we eat chicken-fried steak or a Reuben sandwich or whatever. Some Asians I think have.

My little sister doesn't like watermelon. She's about the only person I've ever met like that though. Watermelon's great.

So should Asians punch more people in the face?

One is evoking a negative stereotype that was used against Asian Americans. The other is maybe specific to China itself.

Being as the Chinese films I've watched are either intellectual/artsy or martial arts my mind might go

On the Carmichael Show they start with a stereotype I hadn't really heard much, that black people don't read. I admit I wonder if that's real. I have heard the notion that the number of people who actually read for pleasure is much lower than the number who really do so, but they don't really go there. (Like a "White

Gritty re-imagining

That made me laugh for some reason.

You could do the Mitford sisters for that. They were a mix of Fascists, Unity Mitford also loved Hitler, and one or two Communists. It seems like one was a fairly moderate socialist though, but you could skip over her.

It seems like Euler was actually a nice guy. A little goofy maybe, but not a bad person I don't think. He was married to the same person for forty years. Okay he did marry her half sister three years after his first wife's death, that's a little weird, but maybe it's not so bad. I mean three years later is enough time

I agree. I felt like Mileva was treated with great respect to the point of maybe exaggerating her role in history. She was one of the most vibrant characters in the series. She had to push through all these boundaries as a woman, and a somewhat disabled woman at that, and in the end the pushing kind of destroyed her.

Raphael looks to have been straight or at least he had a mistress he was apparently into. Vasari apparently stated he died due to a night of excessive sex with her.

In some ways it makes sense. He had a long life. He changed art. He slept around a lot.

I did realize that it was an incorrect phrase as you can add up three traits to make anyone a minority.

After I wrote that I realized "Feliz Navidad" is "Merry Christmas." So thanks for not pointing that out.

Happy birthday young man! Feliz Navidad and ZaiJian!

I'm not saying they get zero percent with that demographic. Episcopalian, UCC, Greek Orthodox, and American Baptists came out majority Democratic. Evangelical Lutheran and Disciples of Christ are fairly Democratic. They're all largely to mostly "white." This is going by the New York Times.

I admit what I'm saying doesn't really take into account telenovelas as they go back to the 1960s or earlier. I might guess that their serialization is more character than plot oriented, but I'm not sure. If so maybe that makes it easier not to get lost?
