I think the anti-Catholic thing isn't as big as it once was, at least not in public.

It's often used that way. There is a tendency to want women to be modest and be disinterested in men being modest.
The 100. And I guess that's about it. I might watch some more Father Brown on Netflix though. (I'm almost done with it. I start Season 5 later today or tomorrow. He's kind of unbelievably tolerant, even of Voodoo, more than I think Chesterton would approve. Then again Chesterton had a few views I don't even like and…
I'm pretty sure he's met with worse people than Trump. (Yes such people exist.) Trump is the President of a large and important nation. And it's not like Obama was totally in agreement with him either.
I think they're going for something like the mantilla. It can be taken as a "the woman is subject to her man" but the women I've read who do it see it more like a form of respect or maybe even an aid to contemplation.
I admit it is intriguing that for Muslims they made a point not to wear a veil, but for the Pope they wear something like the traditional mantilla. (The mantilla is not about a man "owning you", though I admit on looking it up some indicated it was about a woman being subject to a man. I'd thought it was more about…
Quantum entanglement? The natural fission generator that existed billions of years ago at Oklo in Gabon. (I did not make that up.)
That is an issue. Gallup indicates that, at present, 84% of Republicans they polled support Trump. Going too strong against Trump might be risky if the Republican voters in your state or district still favor him by that much. You could risk getting a primary challenge from a Trump-supporter.
There are Republican House Representatives more solid in not even voting with Trump that much, but I do think this place can be rather knee-jerk.
That's an aspect that doesn't really work here though. Even some Trump voters basically indicate they would not want to have a beer with him. He is not that likable. It's part of what made his rise curious to me. At least Ben Carson you could sort-of think, well I think you could anyway, "Well he means well, he's just…
Everyone is party over country. Increasingly moderates don't win, the winners are the more partisan.
Um it really is different. We're talking maybe thousands in a smaller country. I'm not sure all officer-involved fatal shootings in the US add up to a thousand here.
McCain may have only gotten .3% or .4% less of the popular vote it seems.
If Meyers wants to do this kind of thing, anti-Trump Republicans, he should maybe get Justin Amash or Walter B. Jones on then.
I think it depends on the species, Wikipedia says 25 are venomous to humans out of a 1000 or so species, another source says 50 out of 1500, but mostly I think scorpions aren't fatal unless you have some kind of allergy or something.
There's bound to be an African American, or Asian, Eagles fan somewhere so almost felt bad for that hypothetical person.
I thought maybe the whole pregnancy would be a lie or scam of some kind. Or that it would be a celebrity, but one she'd find embarrassing to mention.
Agreed on 1. They at least maybe went on too long.
I half-expected they'd do a thing where Rosa would not initially believe Jake because Hawkins legend was important to her as a woman cop. I underestimated their friendship so that was kind of nice.
As a fortysomething grad student screw you! (Nah, I'm kidding you're fine.)
