It's a double edged sword. You may gain a sense of immediate context in a binge but I've found that you miss a lot of the detail, subtext, and foreshadowing. My friends who have binged up to this point constantly ask me questions that have been answered.

Book readers never take into account that many of us show watchers plan on reading the books at a later time. I don't really want to know everything that was different, or what's the point? JonF311's comment was pretty innocuous, but I've seen a lot worse on here. Maybe we need a 3rd compare/contrast comment thread.

Very true! I was thinking more along the lines of mounting a blade to the stump and freeing his left hand for a shield or something similar.

But what is their Weisman score?!

How long is it going to take Jaime to figure out how to mount a sword blade on his stump, Ash style???

I have to watch again but it felt like his sparring match ended, he handed off his sword and took off the helmet and bam they grabbed him.

It was a real boner

I don't even know any muhfuckin insurgents

Jorah cracking heads the Westerosi district way.

Good question. Fucked if I know.

Yeah this is what I was thinking…he's part of the faceless Men's face database now.

It's the clue for the hidden immunity idol

I've been thinking the same thing.

I felt like it wasn't gruesome enough…I wanted to see him get the Ramsay treatment.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiit

You like ASS the movie too? We should hang out.

Seriously….they just can't help themselves.

As a show watcher, I kind of like that there is this whole section that is left out. I'll probably read the books at some point and things like this are the added value, you know? I can totally see it from the other point of view as well though.

Night's Watch pullout game strong, son

I feel like people pretend to not know the names of places/people, to not seem like geeks.
