Couldn't they have gone with a more Ghostbuster-appropriate band, like Electric Wizard or Blood Ceremony?

It just popped in there.

I'm a little baffled as to why this movie has become a beloved cult classic these days. Beyond some offbeat moments ( the Medieval Times bit was funny) and good cast, it's just another "annoying guy makes uptight guy's life hell" comedy.

Even in 2002, I was already sick of Matrix-y action movies, plus it had Michelle Rodriguez's "performance", a NuMetal soundtrack and the cgi licker.

I found the Silent Hill movie passable until the death of the policewoman, which was just plain repugnant.

I recently found my Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey novel. Never actually read it, but maybe I will to see if Station gets a backstory!
