How in the world are two of the top 4 stories on the AV Club at this moment Smash Mouth related?
Also, this sounds like Jar Jar Binks singing All Star.

As I get older, I find cringe-inducing comedy my least favorite form of entertainment. I just have no desire to have that kind of reaction to anything anymore. It's why I stopped watching Togetherness after two eps this seasons, even though I loved the first season. Just… no thanks.

I don't think there's every been a more popular or prolific movie franchise that I haven't seen even one entry of. Wondering how much longer I can hold out, but I may just have to pop my F&F cherry for this out of sheer curiosity. Or Furiousity. (hey, that pun works two ways!)

I loved Psych, and I miss Psych. Just some pleasant viewing that I could watch when bored, and I could l watch liked 4 in a row no problem.

I was just wondering the same thing. I can already see the fake Disney/pixar-esque trailer with the animals…

Besides Travolta, this was one of the best-acted series I've ever seen. Almost everyone was outstanding in this, particularly the roles of Clark and Darden. Even Nathan Lane was great as a curmudgeonly old WASP.
Travolta really only had that chin-up sneer that was really weird whenever he spoke.

For some reason I love how they kept the foreman's flub of "Orenja… Orenthal…" in the script.

I agree completely. I've long thought Trump isn't as crazy or dumb as he appears and would never ever actually try to enact the stupid shit he's spewing to get elected. The problem is he's making a bunch of moronic, mouth-breathing garlic eaters feel like their racist and ignorant beliefs are justified, since they're

Just recently watched the uncut version of Mitch Hedberg's Comedy Central half hour, and it was really entertaining. He knows from he get-go he's gonna bomb because the audience doesn't know who he is and don't get him at all. They eventually warm up, but only after he starts using old material. Then he stays on

I remember the first day The Comedy Channel came on the air. I still get a little nostalgic every time i see one of the first people on the channel in something, like Havey on Mad Men, or Gruber anywhere.

Kinda weird to think Mike Rowe was in the running to be the Daily Show host after Kilborn…

I think these people are giving the writers too much credit in assuming even they know who's going to die. This was the biggest "punt" of a dramatic decision making process in recent TV history.

What was Bozzio trying to glean from showing Ravi that picture of Blaine and Major? Does she suspect Ravi's involved since he's Major's roommate?

"but Cosnett delivers it with such beaming sincerity, it’s hard to resist."
"beaming sincerity" is one way to put it I guess…
Though it really seemed like he was talking to Barry instead of Iris, if you get my meaning…

" I’d say Zack Snyder should have been taking notes, but there’s no chance that happened."
As I've stated in previous comments sections… Snyder wasn't taking notes because I believe him to be illiterate. He "reads" comics for inspiration/source material, but he only gets the pictures. So he interprets what he thinks

I like how the governor couldn't just veto the bill and be all "our bad." He had to act tough about his leadership while folding to outside pressure from the business community.

So… you feel strongly enough about this that you'll boycott, maybe sort of?

    [Kiefer grabs car battery]
    "WHERE IS THE WHISKEY!"

Saw this as at a test-audience screening. Never saw the final product. Assume they replaced the cheesy music and generic title graphics, but never felt compelled to see it again. Might check it out now.

He's kinda played the kind of role already, but Timothy Olyphant as Preacher was always my ideal casting.
