the "Choosing To Die" documentary is one i definitely recommend. it was hard to watch, but also incredibly educational and eye-opening.

oh yeah, i'm very familiar with her work and her history, and i have that song to thank for turning me on to Fairport Convention to start. i think the albums i listened to the most were Uhalfbricking and Liege & Leif. great, great stuff. she did die way too young. so sad.
well, being a D&D player back in the day, and a Tolkien fan, that song has always been firmly in my wheelhouse. add to that the fact that it's acoustic, and that it's the only song i can think of that they brought in someone else to sing harmonies with robert plant, AND it's a gorgous track…. well… i just can't…
speaking as a life-long fan, i'll say that III was my favorite album for a long, long time — while i love the rocking zep, the acoustic stuff always was my favorite. and Battle of Evermore is just fantastic. i don't know any zep fans who don't like that one. the song on that album that most zep fans i know don't like…
