You're right that it was convoluted but I will say this for it. It does sound exactly like something that COULD have come from the mind of Arthur Conan Doyle.

"I was gone for two hours!"
I agree with Penny. Everything about Leonard's car confession sounded like he was trying to sabotage them getting married that night. It was a typical whinny, selfish Leonard thing to do.
The smaller the setting, almost invariably the better the story. Every time there is a movie sequel they make everything bigger and the stacks higher and eventually it always turns to nonsense.
So it's the thickness of the movie not the length that matters?
nobody's perfect
I'm going to be looking for an opportunity to call some a "dirty double mother suckler".
I'm with you 100% Meander. I like the premise, I just really do not want to see someone eating brains every week.
Don't forget the s1e14 "The Deductionist". One of the worst episodes in the shows run and chock full of brutal senseless murders. Maybe the highest body count of any episode.
I generally agree with Myles that there is too much killing in this show. With the characters they've established it would be interesting watching them do just about anything. They don't have to kill someone every episode.
Oh god yes. I've been trying off and on for a month to read Wuthering Heights and I never get very far before throwing the book down in disgust. Those people are awful.
What did I miss? You guys are going on and on about the movie when the post was about the book.
And don't forget lots and lots of Russians turned into hamburger.
Ben's death was surprising but when you think about this being a TV show and not the comics it makes more sense. They don't need to keep the story going for 50+ years so they can get away with burning through some of the established characters.
Yeah those intolerant bastards!
"Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?"
I agree. I've liked Foggy since the beginning. I'm not however seeing all this sexual chemistry and almost kissing that Sava keeps going on about.
I was wondering why he wasn't dripping wet when Froggy found him. Apparently a good bit of time went by.
Are we going to see Daredevil in full costume in season one? Is it too much to ask to give me my superhero in his tighty spandex?
I know it's wrong of me but every time I see that header pic I think that it must be almost identical to North West's first view of the outside world.
