I would love to hear a Rush collaboration with Kate Bush or Bjork.

My senior year of HS I read Ayn Rand's Anthem for the first time about a week before I heard 2112 for the first time. I was completely unaware that the book was the inspiration for the song and the coincidence blew my mind.

They're a singles band- the albums tend to have a lot of filler. Purple is probably the best front-to-back, but their first three albums are worth a listen.

I didn't know LBJ was the First Doctor.

I've heard that song dozens of times just in the past couple of weeks, and can't remember a thing about it.

Jonah Ray, boy, I don't know…

If Taylor Swift had any hooks I wouldn't need re-Swiftication in the first place.

I prefer Diet Pepsi, except at the fountain, where Diet Coke is usually superior.

This kind of thing is what I thought of when Robert Webb posted a picture of his Peep Show wardrobe next to his own clothes. https://twitter.com/arobert…

"Well, here we are at the Brad Goodman lecture."

THE GREATEST PEOPLE FROM LEBANON, OHIO:

"Scenes From an Italian Restaurant," of course. I've also always liked "Great Wall of China" and "I Go to Extremes."

I once saw that my dad had "Song 2" and "Feel Good, Inc." on his iPod. When I mentioned it was the same guy singing both songs, it blew his mind.

It was only last week when I was listening to "Let Me Put My Love Into You" and realized just how…rapey that song is ("don't you struggle / don't you fight / don't you worry cause it's your turn tonight"). I don't even think Bon Scott could pull that off.

I was so glad to see his "dry heave" when talking about Hydrox.

The A.V. Club
Such a waste—of production, of time and energy, of space, of money…a bunch of junk with little or no significance

I still remember when I was a child and I saw a Godzilla movie (Godzilla vs. King Kong) for the first time. I instantly became obsessed with old monster movies, which eventually led me to discover MST3K later in my childhood/early adolescence.

The Life of the World to Come is superb. "Romans," "Matthew," and "Isaiah" are so heartbreaking.
