Also, it had that goddamned "Butterfly" song, perhaps the only song that ever made me wish I was listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Video of the Year, All Years: Falco, "Der Kommissar"

[SONIC THE HEDGEHOG DROWNING NOISE]

There are two Coreys in the U.S. Senate.

[A] raucous coalescing swirl that eschews dawning contemplation for dronal catharsis, a feedback-skewered march through the astral undergrowth.

There are some artists I forget I have in my library until I do these shuffles, and that was one of them. Good song.

The Mountain Goats, "Psalms 40:2"
Pearl Jam, "Animal" / "Save You" (Live)
Shakira, "Don't Bother"
Peter Gabriel, "Cloudless"
George Michael, "Freeek!"
Guns 'n' Roses, "Welcome to the Jungle"
Led Zeppelin, "All My Love"
The Beatles, "I'll Be Back" (Demo)
Cage the Elephant, "Aberdeen"
Green Day, "Walking Contradiction"

"I remember that feeling when I played the Knitting Factory and I was like, “I made it. I’m at the Knitting Factory!”

Looks like you'll have to get the YesYears box set. I think it's around $20 used on eBay or Amazon.

"On The Silent Wings Of Freedom" still amazes me. Tormato rightfully gets criticism for its bizarre bass and keyboard sounds, but they work so well in that song.

Indeed. The less said about "Almost Like Love" and "Love Will Find A Way" the better.

Yeah, that surprised me too.

The early-2000s Yes remastered re-releases were mostly great, but it still pisses me off that the coda of "Does It Really Happen" doesn't fade in like it's supposed to, but starts off at full volume.

The follow-up Big Generator has two of the all-time great Yes songs on it, "I'm Running" and "Shoot High Aim Low."
