I get this too and it weirds me out. I think it's mostly because they were never together on the show so we didn't really even see them as siblings (well they aren't but they don't know that)

I think it was mainly the writing last season. He showed a lot of improvement in seasons 4 and 5, and then last season he just had the worst dialogue.

I just never got that from Sandor in the books. He always seemed very protective of Sansa. Almost like a father/daughter relationship. It's been a while since I read those first few books though
