Yeah, the review should have probably made the point that the gay panic jokes were simply not particularly funny. I don't have any good gay panic jokes for you, but in theory they do exist.

Good. I hope they stay poor. And creative.

And Lenny's no Special K!

If its money thats the problem, just say so. I'll gladly sign a paycheque over to this show. So fucking good.

Makes sense since he was the fifth Bee-atle.

Toonces: The Cat Who Could Drive a Car. Aside from watching Toonces at the typewriter my favourite was seeing that same car go off a cliff, each time.

They tried to accomplish a little too much, I like South Park when there is one or two plots on the go. The show is odd in that it is a great ensemble cast, but I like episodes that feature just one thing at a time.

Not in that order.

She'd still star in a Lifetime made-for-TV movie.

I'd expect the same. But he cherry-picks the best riffs so the whole thing is actually pretty good.

What's with the lag? This site used to be pretty quick, but AV is like 2 days behind on everything in the newsfeed lately.

Ok, I'm jut going to say it: I like Keenan Thompson. I like him more with each episode. What he does, he does well.

Disappointing. We followed Entourage and Dexter right to their dismal ends, I don`t know why Family Guy coverage would stop when there are so many remaining seasons to discuss and analyze (ie. rip on).

That cutaway was kind of jarring to me, for more or less the same reasons as described; cutaways just have a bad reputation right now. I found myself wondering if they did them all the time and it was just the first one I noticed. The idea that Teddy would dabble in amateur theatre is pretty good, though, and I hope

Pretty crappy episode, really: B- was a little generous. Marge getting high, how scandalous.

genius.

So was Bush Sr, so they just INVENTED affectations for him. Carvey's Bush doesn't resemble the real Bush in any substantive way, but is more solid in my mind.

They often get the premise right, then veer off into hack territory.

The writers aren't even trying, they are far too respectful of him: and as a result they are actually doing him a disservice where they have the opportunity to humanize him.

"they often come across like Jay Leno is on the writing staff."
