Oh God! No, not the Prell!

Is that what the "stonewalled" was referring to in the article? Just ignoring it? Any lawyers or paralegals around that can explain how that works?

The Seeso web player was the worst. Almost unusable. I didn't continue after the free trial.

Yes! Games are not art nor should they try to be. The question isn't, "Is there a video game worthy of being considered art?" The real question is, "Can you show me a painting or sculpture as awesome as Doom or Street Fighter 2 Championship?" Comparing video games to art is an insult to games.

As a middle-aged white man I proclaim this track to be funky.

I saw her perform at a large amphitheater in the late 90s, well after a lot of the backlash and troubles (being booed at a Dylan tribute show, suicide attempts, etc.). She seemed fragile. The only attempt to connect with the crowd between songs was to say all the names of the Teletubbies in a childlike voice.

Everyone stop what you're doing and listen to Lion and the Cobra right now. Her first (I'm pretty sure) and still best album.

Marc Bolan was the most beautiful man ever. That is all.

Yeah but did you see the tennis courts? Shabby and sub-par. Oh he will suffer.

Happy Friday everybody!!

I'll save a few for you.

Kroger curry ketchup is totally still a thing out here in Los Angeles. We just have to buy it at the Ralph's.

Well, I do know that he's never seen the Wire nor, I believe, has he seen anything else of Elba's so he doesn't really know how great he is. He's family so I obviously don't want to think he's just being racist about it.

The more vocal of the two critics (who's also a family member) thought the main roles should have been switched; Elba as the Man in Black and McConaughey as Roland.

That was my take as well but they were very sure about their stance on it. I'm at best a casual fan and they are hardcore. It just bothers me to think of their reaction as being just plain old racism. I want to think better of the people around me.

My own dumbness. I submitted the post but my spoiler HTML tags were wrong so all the spoilery stuff was showing openly. I immediately replaced all the text with "Whoops editing" and then reposted a third time 30 seconds later which flagged it as potential spam.

What would you call that hairstyle on the guy in the top photo?

He's already given it a big endorsement. The director "remembered the face of his father" I believe the tweet went.

Taking forever for my original post that I screwed up the spoiler tags on to be approved so reposting here.

Thanks.
