I did a brief HBO opening credits tour after watching The Leftovers last week, and Rome's credits are really godawful. They make The Leftovers' look like a masterpiece.

Lizzy, you're on the show "Masters of Sex." I haven't seen it, but I'm assuming it's about Reggie and me?
Yeah, that's an even better example. "Yeah this crazy guy shot the dog so I tried to find it's owner so she could bury it, because I'm a compassionate, thoughtful person." Instead, he just acts like a complete asshole.
Okay. Thanks for updating me on the kids. I never did anything like that either, but I do buy the general concept of kids doing stupid shit. Maybe it was the way they used the well-made app that made it seem like someone's idea of a shocking future-party.
I know they play choking games, but do they mix that and burning into a game with fun stuff like kissing and fucking? Seems like no one would want to play that game.
How dare you.
I spent like 30 minutes after I finished Leftovers watching a bunch of old credit sequences. A bunch of good ones, and Rome's is surprisingly awful!
It reminded me of ASS TA ASS
I like the way the dong floated in the water.
I thought for a moment she was going to hit on the Dad at the end of the dinner scene, but then she gave him that weird "you're doing your best" compliment. Thanks, teenage girl.
Do kids really burn each other with hot metal for fun though? I know kids do stupid shit, but I just really didn't get that one.
That party was like some weird vision of what parties will be like in the year 2070. Kids will be using technology to burn each other for fun! Every single person is having sex, and has the body of a 25 year old model! Seemed pretty out of touch.
While I wasn't as negative on it as you are, it had that Lost element of no one explaining what they're feeling. "Why don't you want me to go to the parade, Dad? WHY??" "JUST DON'T GO!" Why not just say "Because it's going to be dangerous, and people are going to fight each other and I don't want you getting hurt" You…
I dunno, Mr. Theroux isn't doing so bad himself.
Hmm, she kind of does. and her daughter on the show looks like Annie, too!
It's pretty hilarious. I wonder how many people here even watch The Good Wife.
I watch the Good Wife, and I quit watching Community a few seasons ago out of boredom. The Good Wife is terrific.
I liked her character. Something about the way she smiled into the camera when she read her letters cracked me up.
Also, watching Jimmy on the video feed smile at everything he said was adorable. I can't get enough Pardo!
It always impresses me that Scott and PFT remember these things so well. It makes me feel good that they are as into CBB as we are (sometimes more so!)
