I didn't like Looking that much, but that show at least got a wrap-up movie to give my favorite Richie a happy ending. Sense8 should have gotten the same treatment.

The thing is once tv shows are renewed, they automatically get more expensive, because people are usually paid more (and license fees increase, not sure if it applies to Sense8 too, because I'm not sure if it's an outside studio that produces it or whether it is Netflix itself).

The cliffhanger is massive and the finale sets up the storyline of a third season. But it is still worth watching. It is a great show.

What are you talking about?

Netflix spends $ 6 billion on original content. The budget of one Sense8 season is almost like peanuts to them. I think they should have at least given the writers the opportunity to wrap things up with a shortened final season with maybe fewer location shoots. I think the show is worth more to their library if it

Honestly, I think Sense8 is a popular show, but it never really became a hit on the scale of OITNB, Stranger Things or 13 Reasons Why. I think for the price tag of an episode, Netflix wanted Sense8 to be as big as those shows.

Sure, but FINALE SPOILER AHEAD

with the sensates officially meeting up in one location in the season finale, they could have just shot in one or two locations to finish up the story and provide resolution to the season two cliffhanger. The show was as expensive as it was because they shot in so many locations

Yeah, the main appeal of Netflix was that they would give their shows a heads-up to wrap up their storylines. Hemlock Grove and Bloodline both got shortened final seasons. Knowing that Netflix would also just pull a show with no resolution diminishes their brand.

Well, there were some new Sensates in season two who weren't thirtysomething supermodels.

Yes, HBO did wrap up Looking with a movie, which was nice. Though I am still mad that they didn't give the same treatment to Enlightened.

Also, honestly, I feel like some people were also not rushing as much to watch the second season because they had to wait so long for the show to return, so they wanted to take their time with the second season, assuming the wait for a third season would be similarly long.

It's a great show with gorgeous visuals, a fantastic premise, lots of diversity. Even though it ends with a cliffhanger now, it's definitely worth watching.

The cliffhanger ending is massive, so once you make it to the end, you will be furious. However, it's such a good, fun ride, the visuals are gorgeous and the pacing definitely picks up in season two. I don't regret having watched the show. As I always say: a great ambitious short-lived show even without a proper

Season 2 moves a lot faster, because everything is established, almost every episode ends on a major new development and the pacing definitely picks up. I'd recommend you watch the second season, as it is a really good season of television. Only sad thing is that it really ends on a massive cliffhanger.

I would cancel my subscription, but Netflix has so many other good shows. Sense8 was among my top 3 three though.

The thing is, a shortened third season that provided some closure, would not necessarily have needed to be as expensive as the first two, at least if you take into account what happens in the S2 finale.

There is no other network that would have done Sense8 on the same scale, shooting in so many different countries. But I don't get why they would cancel it without any resolution. Instead of just cancelling it, they should have have at least greenlit a movie that provided closure.

That seems like such a stupid concept, considering how many rumors and falsehoods are spread on the internet. Like who'd buy crowdsourcing to help solving a crime?

Same here. I didn't even make it through any of the trailers.

Ghosted: Adam Scott is funny, as expected. But from the trailer I don't really get what the show is about. Okay, so they're kidnapped, drafted into some secret organisation and investigating supernatural shit, yes, but why them and what exactly are they investigating? Anyway, I'd probably rather catch up on Brooklyn
