I'm not talking about the actual comics, just the movies. Both Fox and Marvel have a Quicksilver. Marvel is going to have Scarlet Witch in Avengers 2 (no mention of the twins' paternity). I don't think they can "share" an existing character though, which means if anyone is going to make a Rogue movie, it's Fox.

Christ, I despise YouTube. Anything that's good out on it is totally negated by this shit.

That's the theory, that the Cure wasn't effective in the long term. Also, the jailbreak scene is supposed to be in the DVD extras. I'm still kind of pissed it got cut.

Not when Feige more or less has the financing for a full slate lined up for the next six years.

Unless they're willing to split the difference, like with the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Still, I'm not sure how well that would work. Anna Paquin's pretty much Rogue.

Hey Lori, where's Carl?

Yeah, they really didn't get Anjelica Huston's best side there.

And you have the power to stop this crime against humanity, and yet you sit there and do NOTHING.

Apparently. I think Jesse and Lori Loughlin spawned them.

Socks and sandals is only acceptable if you're going to or coming from a sporting event you're participating in and don't want to wear your spikes on concrete. I wore them when I played soccer and I wasn't about to kill my good porcelain cleats walking to practice.

Honestly, no. That's what I had to do in high school to bum smokes from the Goth kids.

I've spent a good bit of time listening to 1st Wave lately on satellite radio, and I can honestly say that The Cure is objectively terrible. They aren't as bad as XTC, but they're terrible. Much, much worse than I remember them being when I was a kid.

@Reason …

Snapping in Z formation. Get it right.

Con. Oh, so very, very con.

There's a joke in there about a child's ghost at a party. I just can't be assed to put it all together.

Yeah, I often laugh at the Reagan nostalgia. Yeah, I loved becoming extremely aware of the importance of money because my father was doing two-weeks-on-two-weeks-off layoff cycles. Good times my ass.

Valeri Bure?

I watched it a good bit in college, as it was smack in the dead spot in my daily Simpsons block and I recall thinking it was better than Full House but still pretty fucking terrible. Also, I remember it being remarkably inconsistent with it's characterizations of the length of it's run.

I don't get the high socks thing. We fought for years to liberate our calves from such torture only to see successive generations shun the low-cut and no-show socks that we labored for and embrace that which we scorned.
