Hmm, I didn't think of it that way. My perspective was that the mother changed her mind because the sister had never really opened up to her before about how her criticism made her feel. I got the feeling that the mother didn't know how her behavior was affecting the sister. In retrospect, it would have made more

He was sure Wells died so he was looking for signs that that was the real Harrison Wells. In Grodd's mind, the real Harrison Wells was a dominant a$$hole. Therefore, if he said please, he could not have been the real Wells.

As someone who has a bossy, overbearing mother, this made perfect sense to me. So many mothers think that they can run your life no matter how old you get. Other than telling them to get the hell out of your face and never speaking to them again, you have the same conversation/argument with them over and over again

Speak for yourself. They're both hot.

When Dean Cain said, "I know everything there is to know about Superman," I got tears in my eyes. God, I've missed him!

If you've got internet, you don't need cable. Watch the show on nbc.com. I have never seen this show on TV; it comes on too late.

Didn't they time-jump him a year? Also, I know boys who looked and sounded that mature at 13 years old. It does happen.

I love your theory!

I didn't think of that either, but that definitely makes sense. I just thought that if Emma's dark powers manifested involuntarily when she was under stress, maybe Hook's would have too. Speaking of which, it would be cool to go back and watch Hook and see if the writers put any clues in.

Ooh I didn't think of that. That's a good point; thanks!

Before he died, he asked her to let him go. He didn't want her to slip further into darkness just to save his life. That's why he's mad.

This! There's no way Hook wouldn't have known that he was a Dark One before now.

I think Kara would say it depends on the situation. Kara doesn't want to be isolated from her friends and she wants their support. However, when she's in the middle of fighting someone, she wants to defeat them on her own. Information and support are one thing; someone else actually showing up and handling the villain

Concerning point #2, not really. I think Kara made such a big deal about not getting help from Superman because she feels insecure about her ability to help people w/o Superman. The party situation was different. She literally ran out of time; it had nothing to do with her competence and she has nothing to prove as
