In the stolen mini-van, doesn't he talk to Mobley and Romero, and Elliot is elsewhere?

Lol yes of course…. I thought I got it from a Will Ferrell movie, but I Googled it to make sure and apparently not only Gargamel, but also Archie Bunker used it in their respective tv shows. I think the Will Ferell-movie quote was "mind-bottling." (Blades of Glory I think). I also say "EXpresso" (Role Models etc),

Well said!
What's "fridging?" I couldn't find a relevant definition anywhere

Hannibal.

That's the worst video I've ever seen.

I'm in love with her. The scene with her praying while Darlene watched was beautiful

Ok so what movies/tv shows are we seeing channeled by "Mr. Robot?"
(No need to mention American Psycho or Fight Club)
The "atmosphere" reminds me of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
There is a poster that is a direct tribute to the True Detective aesthetic (http://pics.filmaffinity.co… ).
Elliot's dynamic with his

I'm thinking that the Mr. Robot/Elliot relationship HAS to be more complicated/interesting than a simple Fight Club theory (like maybe ALL of fSociety —and the Dark Army —) are pigments of Elliot's imagination…. And speaking of paying homage, has anyone seen the True Detective-style promos? http://www.filmaffinity.com…

Hmm. Yes, now that I think about it, hubris permeates the show. Elliot and the rest of fSociety think they can take down the world's biggest conglomerate, Tyrell, as you mentioned, Vera, Isaac, even Angela, and a lot more.
I found a good essay on the hubris-nemesis complex (Nemesis was a Greek goddess raped by Zeus).

Of course, if I were trying to avoid Dominican gangsters allied to a dude I just sent to (possibly) SuperMax for life, I probably would avoid eating in Dominican restaurants…

Damn. Good call. I was using my mobile phone earlier so I never even saw the signature on the wiki page.

Yeah I'm a total datawhore. It's a disease. I go "looking for it" without even realizing what I'm doing.
