Wow, ninja can post with one hand.

That'll teach him to mess with Colbert.
$1600 a month, no wonder Japan has a ninja shortage!. A journeyman henchperson makes $20 an hour here in the good ole' USA. Someone who's actually competent and expert in silent killing can make upwards of $100k.
They were wrong. The Thing does a beautiful job of setting up the isolation, paranoia and tension before it goes totally bonkers with the creature effects.
How has that never been adapted? That's one terrifying ending for a short story.

At thirty?! Dude, give yourself a break.
Who would do the procedure on a teenager without parental permission? You can't even give a minor an aspirin without paperwork.
Some friends and I went to a Roadhouse Grill a few weeks ago. The wait staff were very young, virtually all female and so freaking bubbly they gave us the creeps. We assumed they were either trained to act like that or the owners were putting something in their water.
Prior to the 20th century (and today in many places) child-wives were actually children (by our standards). As creepy as it is, fourteen- or fifteen-year-old girls marrying forty-year-old men was not unusual. It's not perfect by any criteria, but our society has gotten a lot better in the past 100 years (Hurrah for…
That's a good point. When I was a kid, I read a lot of my dad's classic 1930s -1950s Sci-fi and I recall a lot of hyper-competent hyper-hot female characters ( I think this was a E. E. Smith and Heinlein thing), but on second thought they really only exist to motivate the hero. It's not until maybe the 1960s you…
Now THAT would have been great.
Women love outlaws.
So far, the Daniel Craig one's are the only realistic Bond films. He get's his ass kicked regularly, barely survives (sometimes by dumb luck) and seems genuinely traumatized by his ridiculous lifestyle.
I hope you're right.
He does get shot in the leg in Thunderball.
Connery played Bond perfectly,, as a sociopath. That's what makes the comparison between Bond and Red Grant in "From Russia with Love" so great. Both are nasty pieces of work, but Bond is OUR nasty piece of work.
Their suckage is very specific.. 1920s to 1980s automobile ignition systems. Otherwise British engineering is top notch.
You're wrong, it's the best concert film of all time ;')
I was thinking that they were both in shock, pissed off and grieving, which in my book is diminished capacity. Taking advantage of anyone in that condition is not cool.
