oh, sorry. I've been RAGE TYPING.
This dude's the editor in chief of the AV Club, I'm really quite pissed off.
Good to know the Onion stands for transphobia.

this review was written in 2014, not 1974. You don't get to revert to that decade's standards. Or should we talk about the negroes when discussing Ken Burns' The Civil War? Or "g**ks" when discussing Hearts and Minds?

She was a real person (http://en.wikipedia.org/wik… this is disrespectful as fuck, and also factually wrong. I enjoy the AV Club and I'd like it to not have this gross transphobia please.

well, it's 2014, not the 70's, you don't really have that excuse.

"whose first and only heist was part of a quest to get money for sex-reassignment surgery for his husband. "

jesus this episode was edited by a meth addict

"whom many believed was a puppet of Western powers". Ya think? what with that coup we pulled off that put him in power.

rofl. Case in point, there was no castration, but police THOUGHT there was. The accused knew rumors and falsehoods that were circulating.

Ah, blue candle wax. The smoking… candle!

Um. Wow. This movie couldn't be more offensive if it tried.

I got Here Come the Warm Jets sometime in high school (tipped off by the movie Velvet Goldmine- introduced me with Baby's On Fire) and I still listen to it 12+ years later. Own and love the five vocal albums dearly. My Life in the Bush of Ghosts and Everything That Happens Will Happen Today are also great. He returned

Originally AYMM began as a book about her relationships; she goes into how it became something else. I get the feeling she was working on it constantly since Fun Home… it definitely came in way past deadline.

I was quite disappointed with AYMM; having waited five years for the sequel to Fun Home, which I really, truly loved. The problem was the therapist stuff. I didn't buy any of it. The emotional connection I had with Fun Home just wasn't here- I got the family dynamics of Fun Home… I didn't get the psychobabble of AYMM.

I bailed on weeds about 2/3rds through this season. Just stopped caring. Andy and Shane are only interesting characters, and once the Andy plotlines became completely superfluous their was no reason to continue.
