Was gonna say, Miller Park Chorizo is pretty darn tasty. I also like the polish just because they are a slightly grown up version of the hot dog.
In elementary school in Milwaukee, I remember having the racing sausages come to our school for one of our "get active" days to promote a healthy lifestyle. Talk about a mixed message.
"My dad grilled with the same regularity other people put toward exercise or meditation."
She is complicit after the fact but it doesn't have the same stink as actually participating in the planning or execution of the plan. Being friends with Jimmy, much less sharing an office with him makes you pretty complicit in any dirt though.
Lots of great ways to do a car crash scene that are impactful but this one was perfect. The smash-cut that called back to her nap in a previous episode was fantastic. Not using the sensory overload of the sound and site of the crash to create drama but jumping straight to the stunned silence of the aftermath.
I love that BCS writers didn't go the easy route with Howard's character and make him a hollow suit archetype but actually made him somewhat relatable.
You said that you never get on people for their opinions on art… And then immediately got on someone for their opinion! Saying you "don't understand" is the biggest throwaway argument ever. I'd say it's safe to say most of us get references and "understand" the show. All that's left are opinions. Here are mine: this…
Yeah, I used to own the DVDs for Song Remains The Same and How the West Was Won (which is better IMO). That Seattle gig story is awesome.
This is such a hard question. Queen w/Freddie Mercury, Nirvana, the Ramones are great answers. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and on and on. I could never de…wait no
Right. I get that sense as well. But unless the purpose was to get Gloria to walk into their crime scene then it is a misstep.
I don't think he slipped up. I just don't think he handled the situation. A savvy middleman would have appeased the cops and swiftly facilitated their exit without arousing suspicion. By the very nature of the closing scene he did the opposite. Gloria replayed the meeting in her head and was so unsettled that she is…
Was not at all surprised to see Noah Hawley as the writing credit at the end of this episode. It had his touch much more than any recent episodes and it paid off. I felt like they cut through the nonsense that was slowing down this season. Most noticeably was cutting out the new police chief. The two cops are again…
In previous seasons I have been on the edge of my seat until the credit came on screen each episode. This season has more of a slog, uninteresting and cliched characters, at times clunky writing and a general lack of focus. This episode was the first that brought it back to my level of interest from season 1 and 2. I…
No mention of the Coen brothers reference from Big Lebowski?
Yep. Major cringe.
Baldwin's Trump is so stale its hard to watch. I cringed when he called Michael Che's Lester Holt "Jazzman" last week because they used that exact same joke in the premiere. The President Show is still relatively fresh to me when Anthony isn't just reciting dumb stuff Trump says but actually delves into Trump as a…
Yes, very well said. It has been a plot device that has been used to the point of being hackneyed. Also overused is the hapless, imbecilic partner cop. When Winnie and Gloria are explaining their thinking to Donny and he struggles to even get hold of the names of the suspects I was calling BS. There have been…
Not sure in what context people are "loving" him but I doubt it is meant in admiration, more that he is compelling as a man so pathetically trying to be a tough-guy even though he is clearly just a neutered paper pusher. Great acting during the Nikki beating though.
We can't say for certain he didn't.
