That sounds reasonably plausible. That would assume quite an in-depth knowledge of diabetes on the writers' part, in which case I'd be completely wrong. Although my understanding is that type 2 causes reduced insulin levels as well as insulin resistance.

We're tacking on mass!

The flâneurs in Paris in the 19th century would take tortoises for walks as a statement of their resistance to the increasing pace of modern urban life. Writer Gérard Labrunie went one better by taking his pet lobster for walks at the end of a blue silk ribbon in the Palaise Royal.

Why would even consider watching a spin-off of a show you find so objectionable? It's by the same creator, it's set in the same world, do you need us to tell you it's visually similar?

Yeah, so diabetes doesn't work like that at all. You can go hyperglycemic from too much sugar, but you can't go hypoglycemic unless you're taking insulin and not getting enough sugar to balance it out. Christine was undiagnosed so she wasn't taking insulin. Type 1 is a slighly different story but you wouldn't make it

"I'll be bucking HER ham palace!"

Paul Rust is only about six months older than Gillian Jacobs to be fair.

I'd be willing to bet that it's not just South Park either.

My parents didn't have the internet until I was about 18 or 19 (which is weird to think about in itself) but I had a published book of Red Dwarf scripts that I used to enjoy. Oh boy, Red Dwarf of all things.

So very sorry.

Do you actually mean to say that… okay, no, I give up.

That's tenuous at best.

Oh, I remember you from the comments on that South Park episode review from last season, the one with the anime drawings of Tweek and Craig. At least that episode had some reference to Japanese culture - what's your excuse here?

That get up Billie was in at the beginning was so funny. I lost it when she referred to it as a bikini.

I hear you - Penny Dreadful is one of my favourite shows. I'd hate to see it go the way of Hannibal and Manhattan.

I've not heard of Waze before, but Fred calls it 'Maze' in the episode so it sems you're right.

Yes, the first episode will be broadcast on E4 on the 17th. I'll be the dude who decides which tweets from fans go up on the screen (that's not the whole job but it's the part that will make me feel drunk with power).

That TV saleman was great. He fit in very well with the theme of people earnestly trying to do a good job and failing miserably anyway, like Chip at clown school and Martha's attemps to sell Cosco memberships.

No I don't want to reroute to Long John Silver's, what kind of question is that?
