ISaBD certainly isn't my favorite movie, but I like it a lot.
Did you ever follow up on the 3rd grade acting bug?
The horn arrangements on that era Steely Dan songs are all sublime.
I saw a video with Mark Mothersbaugh and they have one of those keyboards. If it is the one I'm thinking of, if you want to bend a note, you slide the whole keyboard side to side.
In my Life is actually a sped up piano. Listen to it at half speed. Even at full speed, the lack of the plucked sound is also a clue.
It sure stinks up the concert venue though.
For non-sax, non-guitar, solo I've always loved the accordion on Tom Waits' "Cold Cold Ground". Starts here at about 1:50 https://www.youtube.com/wat….

I'm trying out podcasts instead of music during my morning walks and I kinda like it.
I also watched "Shadow of a Doubt" with the Missus and then watched "Lifeboat" after that. I was a bit surprised of the mention of Concentration camps since it was shot during the war. Perhaps it was known about but not the scale of it.
The generosity and hard work shown by you and your community demonstrate the best part of when some people call fly-over country
"They all jump"
"I shit you not, I will gouge your eyes out with my thumb"
When I first heard "Surfing" I was so totally blown away. I was also 19 and full guitar god worshiping mode. While waiting for something new to come out I picked up his previous album "Not of this Earth" which I found to be a bit more experimental.
