I had posted on the RIP thread about the first two songs i went for after hearing about his passing. The next thing i looked for were the Bevis and Butthead Soundgarden videos. It was really fun to laugh for a bit.

The first 2 songs I reached for after hearing this where the two songs from the Singles soundtrack; Seasons - a solo song and Birth Ritual as Soundgarden.
Seasons seemed so different from what I had heard of Soundgarden before, so bluesy.
If i ever have to psych myself up, I'd choose Birth Ritual, it's the most badass…

For TNG I'd say "Inner Light" (Good stand alone episode) and "Measure of a Man" (an earlier one, but one of the best early ones)

I was 11 when that came out and as others have mentioned, it really left an impression.
