Drinking with friends or at home was necessary Friday.

Seriously. Why are they so bad at this? 4 million people marched around the US on Saturday and even Elizabeth Warren is voting to confirm Ben Carson.

The Women's March in DC was incredible. I'd be surprised if the crowd was less than 750k - 1 mil based on past experiences there. It was so reassuring interacting with friends & strangers who were sane and upbeat after the darkness of the day before. I'm going to try to hold on to a little bit of that going forward.

Lagunitas' Brown Shugga. Need to stock up before it's out of season.

To be fair, there are two Skywalkers already with Kylo and Luke (but then again I'm one of the people hoping Rey is just an abandoned rando and not genetically "special").

Thanks for this. I saw him with a few other comedians last spring and his rant about how "awful" Hillary's voice is was the nastiest, most unfunny riff of the night. Like… sorry she doesn't have the voice of a 22 year old, and ALSO HAVE YOU HEARD TRUMP OPEN HIS MOUTH

I'm not sure it's in the cards to expect him to be scary for adult viewers … love the show but it's definitely aimed at families.

No one watches TV like that… and your average viewer probably doesn't track renewal news, either.

Not a bad call. I'm holing up on Friday at a couple of the bars donating part of inauguration weekend profits to charities (www.allinservicedc.com) but metro there and back will be… interesting.

Sierra Nevada's Tropical Torpedo. Great addition to the lineup.

Just what I was hoping! Thank you.

Postcards from the Edge — really like Carrie Fisher's writing, but I'm not sure if there's a plot to speak of. I'll definitely dig into more of her stuff though (sob).

It's apparently called caslon antique — it was the font used in the books, which is nice to see.

Yup — same thoughts. Really hope he writes a few more in the same Snicket universe, in whatever style grabs him next.

There's no excuse for attacking her, but in what world is singing at an event honoring Trump not a political act?

Very excited about this (and perplexed but intrigued about one big change mentioned above).

Have you tried Tropical Bitch? I think it's a spring seasonal — waaay too delicious.

I had given up hope on the Russia thing being covered like Watergate 2.0 as it deserves — this is fucked up, but it's heartening to see it brought to light.

I was interested too — it looks like the partner organizations are going to be giving them out (I'd guess next week, but who knows).

Agreed. Alias and Fringe were good shows and strongest when he was involved.
