I am so happy I'm not short. I'm not sure how young people would peg me if I was short in addition to baby faced. (Meanwhile, my sister has been passing for her late twenties since she was 13, which is super unfair on the part of our genetics.)

How do you know she's not over 19? Is it just her appearance? You can ask her age.
I think it's a mix. Stuff on GoT like the rat torture, castration, Red Wedding is violent, but totally and completely removed from the from the majority of viewers' real lives. Rape is a more mundane sort of violence that thus tends to hit closer to home. I think people would've been fine if they handled it well,…
It's because the director and actors and such didn't give interviews afterward that the guy wanted to be eaten by rats at the end, so it wasn't really torture. The problem is that it is a rape scene, but the director is trying to say that it wasn't.
Meanwhile, I bought my dad the Blu-ray set for his birthday and we watched it together. He remembered how awesome it was and I got to enjoy it for the first time. I can't think of a live-action TV show today doing some of the more surreal digressions.
You are not alone. Back in college, my roommate made our entire dorm watch that show on DVD, and I think we were all mad it had been cancelled by the time we were done.
