Not to spoil anyone, but if you go hunting for the official press release about the mid-season finale, it gives away maybe a little too much…. If you really can't bear the wait.
Whatever happened to Carol and Melissa being best friends? Carol should really be more concerned about her than she is.
I'm really hoping she'll get a proper character arc when her pregnancy starts to show. She's about to give birth with no hospitals, no doctors, and no-one who knows what do if something goes wrong, that's a terrifying concept…
I love the 99 and their weird family, but it bugs me incessantly that Hitchcock's go-to joke for weddings is apparently an anti-Semitic one.
God, this show is so good (I also teared up at all those parts) but so underrated. I wish it had the same sort of fandom other apocalypse shows like TWD get.
Same. I really worry for Melissa, even if the tunnel in the wall thing was funny.
It's so strange to me, but so good, that a half-hour comedy with a fart joke almost every episode is also one of the best explorations of grief and loss I've seen on TV recently.
I am willing to bet a large amount of money that it involved alcohol, whatever it was. It would explain a lot.
My one big quibble with this series so far is that Erica, who has the most interesting backstory out of anyone, has been given NOTHING to do.
I think Mary Steenburgen was credited as guest cast at first, and she stuck around, so maybe it is a contract thing.
I'm willing to cut him a little slack at this point, annoying as he is. He's just had his brother come back from the dead, had his brother die again under traumatic circumstances, find out he's going to be a father, be threatened by a madman, find out that madman is alive and gunning for him, and had to leave his home…
I love this show, but I miss Mike. Mike was great. Someone reveal what happened to him already!
