Did MI: Ghost Protocol come out in 2010? If so, give it to that film. Best MI film so far. It was like Brad Bird made a live action Incredibles film.

No Cure, No Smiths, No Pixies, No Duran and No Joy Division/New Order renders the RNR HOF completely irrelevant.

Great list. Give 2004 to Michael Mann and Collateral. But you are forgetting about The Raid and Raid 2 from 2012 and 2014.

The supporting cast getting gutted and the massive changes from the source material were due to budgetary constraints. Much like Escape from LA, Carpenter's promised budget was slashed prior to filming. I think the budget was cut from 30-35 million down to roughly 15 million. Carpenter revised the shooting script to

And it was JT Walsh's last film. He died in 1998, leaving behind an amazing career of great supporting turns. Breakdown, Backdraft, Few Good Men, Good Morning Vietnam, Executive Decision. That's just scratching the surface.

I prefer JCVD's cloning film from the same year….the long lost Replicant. Serial killer Van Damme vs. his child like clone. Bonkers.

The CGI in Blade 2 has not aged well at all either. Caught it for the first a few weeks ago and while the practical makeup effects are amazing, the CGI is pretty shifty.

I believe that Ronin is the film Frakenheimer insisted he get to make with New Line in return for trying to save the deeply troubled "Island of Dr. Moreau" production.

No love for The Negotiator? Granted it might be more of a thriller than straightforward action film but once its get moving, it's pulse pounding.

This is true. He's on the record as having no memory of making Knock Off. Keep that in mind the next time you watch the film and revel in its lunacy.

Agreed. The opening raid on the vampire nest in Carpenter's film deserves special mention. It is one of the few times in the 90s that Carpenter found his fastball.

Wow. Parker Lewis was amazing. A can't miss when I was 13 years old. A Ferris Bueller knock off that was actually good.

Not sure about Geo Force, but a young Stan from Mad Men played Pony Boy.

Am I the only one who remembers "The Outsiders" TV series that had a brief run in the early days of Fox? The opening credits look like a dry run for 90210 and every subsequent youth show on Fox.

100% I recommended it to lot of people who expected a Fast & Furious entry. Needless to say, they were bummed.

Liked Drive a lot, but is very derivative of Michael Mann's Thief and of course, The Driver. Still a fan of Long Riders. If I ranked Hill's entire filmography, it would be in the top third. Hill had an incredible run there for a while.

Please say thank you for Extreme Prejudice!

Also, the scene at the adoption agency. Unreal work by Caan and Weld in conveying hope, embarrassment, rejection and then defiance.
