(Second picture) "MY PRECIOUS….."

so is this just another police-pair-procedural? we need another one of these like we need another serial killer show.

that would be a game changer! penguins!

Is this show meant to be a one-and-done or is it wait and see if they have the ratings to renew it? What would everyone prefer… one season or multiple?

Yeah, I've seen these most weeks I believe. Good that the show is promoting social interaction.

Am I the only one here who is really excited for this show?

Didn't we see gas mask girl bang on the door though? And someone from behind the door talked back to her. So I'm not so sure that she's a hallucination.

Julia and Hatake: Please anything but Father/Daughter, as that trope has been done to death!

Yeah I really like it too; not saying there aren't any flaws, but there's enough mystery and creepiness to keep me interested.

"Things look very different when the story is stretched over nine episodes. "

and all of the contestants escape north to Georgia

must the locales for these shows always be islands?
"FOX to strand group consisting of hedge fund managers, sleazy lawyers and Anthony Bosch in downtown Compton."

I'd like to hear the rest of the joke so I know if I should upvote/downvote your comment…

"Fox to Strand Reality Show Contestants on an Island for an Entire Year or until Show Cancellation, whichever comes first"

Yeah, looks to me like the whole thing has been flipped vertically. I can't think of a good reason why that would have been done however….

Why would Showtime, HBO, and Starz need to go to a third party to show how many subscribers they have? Is it a case that they don't want to release hard data and so they cite an industry group who has general data on subscribers?

It sure seems like it is airing that same night at 10pm… http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/mas… (what time does the SB usually end? around 10 or so if my memory serves). Perhaps they are hoping that the game is over by that point and some of the gatherings switch over to PBS.

"…Chinese teenagers have instead had to fritter away their time on things like beating us at math and science, and slowly destroying our country's economy."

Frontline - To Catch a Trader

I was definitely intrigued by the first episode. It wasn't perfect … there was some clunky exposition, and the scenes at home didn't quite work. But I'm interested enough to return for the second episode.
