Internal Affairs is good, but Desire, W.A.R and PTSD are sooo much better! Like classics for all time great! Kind of glad he was forced into having a real band.

It's edited together, but it's all the same Bulgarian Folk festival, that's what a field recording is.

I have that album, it's not a found sound collage, it's a field recording of a folk festival.

Yeah like that early sketch where they made fun of the guy who commutes on a bike and didn't want to be hit by a car. It's supper funny that poor people don't want to be hit by cars and think they should be able to use the road too. Or the sketch with kumail nanjiani where the premise is homeless people are faking it

It's not live improv, but it's definitely improv. You can tell the "never say no" rule is totally in effect and how many quick cuts they do to disguise that fact that most of the content isn't scripted, most of the time they don't even have a premis, just a thumb nail of a character or a voice and a location. The

Was really expecting to see Velvet Goldmine on here somewhere. Love me some Wylde Rattz

I actually think you can objectively judge the imporv and it's not a good caliber of improv. Sketches often seem to just trail off into wacky sounds or repeated dialog. Their premises are generally not funny or original and they have no conclusion. It's objectively bad by the standards of improv.

I lived in Portland for like 10 years. This show is in no way dry satire it's not nuanced or clever it's two rich artist dressing up like poor people and trying to make them sound stupid. Seriously every sketch is look at how dumb this person is. If there's humor beyond that it's about things like lines or traffic.

Didn't know liking myself was a crime, and I've seen seasons of the show. I've also lived in Oregon my whole life and part of that time has been spent in Portland. Their comedy has no punch line and their sketches tend to have no conclusion it's just a lady from ever green state and a dude from New York making fun of

I really can't think of a show that's humor feels so much like hanging out with my parents. How is this going to last 8 seasons it's a show about two rich musicians making fun of poor people with shitty improv. How are people not realizing this shows humor is the exact same tone and quality as the Big Bang Theory,

Saw them with Kim Deal in 04, I've also seen the Breeders, Frank Black and the Drummers band a few times, and they're all much better by themselves. Even in 04 they looked like they didn't want to be there.

If you watch the whole thing there's a scene where they talk about how they talk at each other and don't really interact.

No fem fatal no neo noir

It has a few problems, but it's good. The whole thing moves pretty fast and if you like cyber punk noir I think this is like the only film,

Counter point Idiosimist sucks.

China's bought a lot of US issued bonds, but it's not an evil thing, they're just great investments. American's tend not to buy so many Chinese bonds, as they're seen as less of good investment.

Went to a Echo and the Bunny-men show to see the Psychedelic furs open. Also everyone should see the Rev Horton Heat at least once.

I don't know what his financial situation is, but it seems much higher than the nothing most rape victims get. It's also what they worked out. But if you're into respecting her wishes and giving the victim what she wants she asked that they stop bothering with trying to prosecute him.

I have no idea how you gauge level of remorse, its subjective. He's apologized. He paid the money in the late 90's they just didn't do a press conference about it. He plead guilty and ran as soon as soon as he was done with the first part of his plea deal and then they told him they were changing the deal they gave
