Uh… yeah I did. What are you trying to argue here? I said that a reason for changing the character was to not piss off China. You said 'that's bullshit'. I showed you evidence to the contrary. So please enlighten me as to what I've missed.

I'm the same as you on the privilege, I'm not sure if it's worse than whitewashing or not but it is still shitty.

Umm, my general theory was that 'this is what Asian people are talking about'. Hence the words ' I think what a lot of Asians are talking about is'. You seem oddly incensed by this, especially considering I never said I agreed, just that a lot of Sean and Alex's arguments missed this point.

A couple points about this:

我聽說過母狗的兒子,但我從來沒聽說過「兒子的母狗」。;)

Alternatively, help prevent the rise of the machines by drawing dicks no matter what it asks for.

My bad, I saw 'man and reptile stay locked for weeks' and spaced on the other details.

So, you could say that the red turtle is the hero's white whale?

Shit, I didn't make myself clear. I don't actually believe any of the stuff I just wrote - just trying to create a hypothetical 'anti-immigration' stance and thought using the first-person would be easier.

My working theory about this is that it's because fearing the unfamiliar is an animal instinct. Bigotry is a product of ignorance. Therefore, you've got to teach people out of it, which is a hell of a lot harder to do than getting them to go apeshit like Trump has. That, and being liberal is basically about being nice

But does not knowing your 'truth' automatically make them racist? Do you think that immigration actually being good for the nation is something a person can automatically intuit?

"Do you have any examples of that?"

My point is that honestly, recently there hasn't been a viewpoint to listen to. I'm not saying liberal viewpoints aren't available, but they rely to heavily on a preexisting understanding of the concepts, or agreement.

Question: Is saying 'I am worried about immigration in this country,' a racist statement?

You don't need to pander to a group of people to engage them in debate. You can disagree with someone without actively insulting them and you can listen to someone's viewpoint without compromising your own values.
