I found it to be a bit thin-feeling over the whole 12-issue arc, though it's hard to quite articulate how and why; the pacing is often so fast that some issues feel rushed and stilted. But there's really some good stuff in there, like the tear gas fight in the woods, which frame Frank Castle as a very effective

I mean, there's still a week left for them to try!

As someone who owns every Punisher book ever (there's more than you think!), there's a lot of dross before you get to Ennis, though Mike Barron did some amazing "ripped-from-the-headlines" stories in the 80's and 90's. He's such a deeply troubling character when handled well, and good for bringing up hard, grotesque

It's been a thing for the past 2 years or so, with artists reimagining characters as other heroes; they did it with Venomized characters a few months ago, and just started a Mary Jane based one this past month. It's like a cosplay idea machine, writ large.

I wish the regular art was better on this book. Losing Dillon so suddenly was a massive blow, and Matt Horak is usually a tighter penciler than he is on Punisher, but his art the past few issues has looked really rushed and sketchy. It'd be great to see Anka as a regular on the series.

Also, righties love saying they've been "hacked" whenever anything related to a computer never goes their way, but they just cannot believe Russia would want to hack an American election.

This is pretty good footage of Steve Bannon, actually.

His bashful smile at being offered Ali's sister is lovely.

I once saw an interview with Jacob Rees-Mogg where all I could think was, "It would be so much fun to dunk this nerd's books."

    I mean…it does NOW.

To be fair, the way that day was dressed? It was askin' for it.

Also, this is all music made by people who have clearly never fucked a day in their lives.

The amount of conservatives, a group of people who are incapable of being cool, attempting to engage in rock 'n roll, the epitome of cool, has always been a lovely bit of irony.

Right wingers have this crazy need to feel oppressed, it's truly perverse.

Imagine an alt-right kid able to grasp Shakespeare in the first place.

I always assumed these were movies for the really loud kids who only ever wore camo sweatpants to school.

Just wait'll every GOP politician is calling for Democrats/ Progressives to be locked up tomorrow. They've already started: http://www.politico.com/sto…

And here I thought it was a false flag by the Lizard People out to enslave Heartland Americans, which I assumed because that's the GOP response to every single shooting.

I'm shocked that simple softball practice wasn't enough to do in a congressman.

The day a friend lost my ALS DVD was one of the darkest of my life.
