honoured to be your first one
oh Ed Grimley gets my vote
ditto about the star, made me think of the Pamela Colman Smith star card as soon as i saw it
it was, just checked, Starbrite
it's one of those things, like the origins of the tarot, that is hard or impossible to pinpoint exactly but yeah, the theosophists had their fingers in many pies
damn good memories, damn good tv.
the two shows often overlap in my mind, and as much as i love and respect Denise, i was thrilled to see Mulder as FBI chief of staff
ah yes, i stand corrected. far be it from me to call a man's vision a dream.
i loved Don Davis so much, he's one of my archetypal tv dads. i couldn't believe my luck when i saw him as Scully's father.
fix your heart or die!
-my new battle cry
i took the ring as the fixed point which kept the DougieGolem together and seen as he wasn't a genuine doppleganger but only a thoughtform and lower on the consciousness scale, he couldn't enter that part of the lodge…
my guess is Dougie was a creation of Coopleganger/Dopplecoop and as a tulpa/golem/thoughtform of sorts able to function as his placeholder and decoy, sort of disrupting the signal
i could really go for that
pride is exactly the word. also my mind immediately went back to that dream major briggs recounted in the diner and bobby listening to his father all teary eyed…
and what about the Others, the parallel phone operator and police officers (Chad? Todd?) in the back, seems the Trumans (and deputy Hawk) decided to keep Lucy and Andy around - are Lucy and Andy aware of the rest of the personnel? the police station has really grown in numbers, Bobby included
in case anyone's wondering (as i did), that gorgeous Egyptian themed deck from Laura's casino is Steve Minty's Anubis deck. props to the AG crew for keeping the author's name visible in the shot.
