So it is possible to vote if you aren't registered beforehand?

I knew about sacrificing a child, but do you really have to pledge allegiance or swear an oath or something like that?

Can an American explain, for the non-Americans here, the exact voting process.
Like, from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave, how long does it take? And do you NEED to be registered to vote? What all are you voting on, besides president?
I realize things may differ from state to state.

Low-Sodium Lake.

They're not called cheese-eating surrender monkeys for nothing.

I always had trouble with happiness in Civ V.
Religion was mostly a waste of time but had some good ways of improving happiness for my citizens. Maybe the most realistic part of the game.

Someone like me does play with that option off.

That's also true, which is why the end of the game is often less fun than the early and mid game, for me at least.
Haven't played VI yet, hopefully the end game fighting is improved, or other victories have become more satisfying.

Anything other than a domination victory is less satisfying.

Wouldn't say I'm big on the MLS but I did go to the NYCFC vs TFC game last Sunday.
I'd been to a couple games over 5 years ago and I did notice a step up in quality this year.
I know there's a big disparity in team payrolls so some teams are awful and some have superstars that are passed their prime but still great.

I've been to a few away games where both teams are clear bottom-5 teams.
I highly recommend it. You start commiserating over your lowly teams. No one really cares that much about winning, because playoffs are already out of the question, which minimizes the douchbaggary.

I'm looking forward to Medea's Flag Day Massacre.

The Hazards of Love

I think most sports fans feel like their team is getting a raw deal from broadcasters and league officials. Mostly because they often are.
Only a handful of teams in each league get preferential treatment at the expense of all other teams. And it's usually all about the size of the market.
We definitely see both sides

This Josh Brown thing is especially weird.
He got only 1 game initially. The league said they tried to investigate it but the sheriff's office wouldn't co-operate so they didn't have enough evidence to give a larger suspension.
Now the sheriff's office is saying the investigators never identified themselves as working

That scene at the end of the last Stranger Things episode where Will is looking into the mirror and for a second everything turns into the Upside Down….
If that was BOB in the mirror I would have immediately shit my pants.

Ken Bone seems like the kind of guy who really doesn't want to be disliked, and lives his life that way to a fault.
The way he qualifies his Reddit posts by giving credence to each side, and the fact he still claims to be an undecided voter, he avoids fully disagreeing with anything (except easy wide-spread stances

"You're letting me go?"
"Kirk, crackers are a family snack. Single people might like crackers, but we don't know. And frankly, we don't want to know. "
"So that's it? so long and good luck?"
"I don't recall saying good luck."

What you wrote doesn't make sense.
And ultimately I agree.

I don't agree with his Trump-supporting policy, but I do agree with his touchdown throwing policy.
