Yeah, this wasn't the best episode, but I actually laughed my ass off at the caterer one. His delivery was just too funny.

Didn't Raj go back and try to get Emily back (after Claire had a boyfriend, of course) and she slammed the door in his face? Would have rather seen *that* Emily! I always feel that the writers do her a disservice.

Oof, that was creepy af. I get scared really easily, so I was definitely turning on lights and locking doors after this one! Interesting to see a relatively offhand line from the book get turned into a big set piece like this. So f'ed up.

I would argue that book-Quentin is clinically depressed too. The fact that the show makes it more explicit doesn't really change too much. I think the reason that show-Quentin is not such a shitbag (because book-Quentin is the Worst) is because the actor does a great job and we don't have to be in his thoughts. He's

But I would assume that the guys can switch, right? Or is it really like one person is always the top?

That was my thought too. I guess it still might have been—taking his benign anemia and making it seem like something worse.

Denker needed to get sacked, that was the biggest one for me. =(

I watched it last night. My DVR apparently decided not to record, so I had to make do with a somewhat choppy streaming version on my laptop, but still I had a big grin on my face for most of the episode. Is it implausible and sentimental and trite? Yes, sure, but still I loved Downton Abbey.

I would imagine she was arrested when the cops got there and she was there with a dead body. Then once they determined the lady died of a hemorrhage, they let her go.

But they had a whole plot where Jess interacted with the landlord (threesome!), so that may have changed. I mean, season was a long time ago. Coach moved to Chicago, after all.

Just because it's not illegal doesn't mean she'd be okay with it. And do we know her name isn't on the lease?

Not without someone's permission!

Julia didn't read the paper. Seems like the spell "got in" via the eyes.

I was all on her side for putting up with their shit, until Marnie turned around with that godawful face!

I made the same point. Just seems so unlikely.

And how he wouldn't be able to provide enough money for the baby. Bernadette is the one with the high-paying job!

That scene with Gina and the business people almost made me cry. What a withering indictment of my worthless life!!

My impression was that the oboe wasn't actually $40k and the guy was just trying to claim insurance fraud.

That storage unit at the end made me feel twitchy. What a waste of space and money!

Usually, yeah.
