My guess: first sentence was a joke, and then he answered with what he wants people to think the number really is.

I'm not sure. He seems to complain that she gave Jimmy a dvd instead of a blu-ray. The blu-rays only came out in the past couple years, so it might have just taken him a long time to see it (and he assumed it was new because he's an idiot).
Was it one of those "we'll send you a printed copy of a wikipedia entry for $20" books on amazon?
You had zero dimes cause nobody messes with Enzo and Big Cass! Badda bing, badda boom, realest guys in the room!
"What have you done?" Not much. Some tv, a few romcoms, was the lead in the fifth highest grossing film of all time. You know, the usual.
He never mentioned the ten episodes before. Wonder if he mixed this interview up with the other upsetting ones he doesn't want to talk about (which is why he mentions it/them multiple times).
2004, when the 300th and final issue of Cerebus came out. The AV Club was one of the few sites willing to cover it and he spent the entire interview berating Tasha. http://www.avclub.com/artic…
Apparently a lot of people also want to know what race Sauron is.
Yoda is the first result for me.
Wait, the main character from The Raid movies is also going to be in Star Wars? How does that work? Is Star Wars a prequel to The Raid? Is there time travel involved? Kinda weird having a character from Earth wind up a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
LaToya/everyone, have you watched Wrestle Kingdom 9? Because holy poop that was amazing. Not only is their streaming service cheaper than WWE's, but that show was so much better than any WWE ppv I've seen in months. If you're in to wrestling, check it out; Wrestle Kingdom is kind of like NJPW's WrestleMania, but WK…
I'm kind of in the same boat (at least with comic book movies). Along with what you said, I really like Michael B Jordan and that they're supposedly trying to do something different with it has me interested. Years ago I used to be annoyed that comic book movies deviated so much from the comics. Now I want to see them…
"When a film makes more than $1.5 billion at the box office, it’s a given that its sequel is going to be not only highly anticipated but a full-fledged event. "
Because Netflix would greenlight five shows at once.
"The book catapulted Tillman into nerd icon status on par with Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory and Abed Nadir of Community."
Based on the cover lettering, I honestly thought it was a book about the impact Rosie O'Donnell's talk show had on society.
They've done articles on WrestleMania, wrestling is mentioned multiple times every week in WoT, they did a WWE primer back in September and I think they've even done a NXT review. AVC's got multiple wrestling fans for writers and they've been pushing to get more coverage here.
Cop Rock III. Cop Rock II was Viva La Laughlin.
"Hipsters" implies irony. There's nothing ironic about the Bucks' love of superkicks.
Very cool to see NJPW getting coverage! With WrestleKingdom9 this upcoming weekend and it being legally available in the US my friends and I are psyched to watch a high quality stream live (or I guess delayed with English commentary for people who keep normal sleep schedules).
