I took it as commentary that kickstarter type sites will ignore their own rules (look at the Ferguson shooter fundraiser; it went against the tos, but because it would make the site so much money, they defended it) if they can make money off of it.

Huh. That's the first time I can remember seeing a critic say that they were comparable. I get liking the third, but I'm with Fienberg in that the first two seasons had a spine to work off of and the third one didn't.
