It's interesting that you tied shows being forgotten to Presidents. When I think of shows that best represent the George W. Bush-era, I go with Battlestar Galactica and The Office. They're both great representations, but the idea that shows are forgotten or left behind with that presidency makes sense; how the hell

Desire Akhavan is the daughter of Middle Eastern immigrants; that's a great step, especially since there are so few characters/actors of Iranian decent on TV (that aren't the stereotypical terrorist/clerk).

No offense to Ben-Hur, but I think Batman's more popular.

Still holding out hope they add Natalie Morales.

I didn't realize the tournament was going on. Is this the decades one or a yearly one? Is Chu on right now? I haven't watched in a while and need a recap.

I wish that were a real thing.

Something to keep in mind with Imaginarium though is that he has a small role (he is one of several actors that does part of Ledger's role) and it's somewhat influenced by Ledger. I liked the film, but Depp was such a small portion of the movie that he could have been a black hole (and he might have been given that I

Psh, I've been disliking him for years before the backlash.

That's disappointing. When it was announced that the BBC would be involved I was hoping that would mean PBS would go for it. Now I'm going to have to wait for it to show up on dvd at the library to watch it.

Heard this song in the bathroom today. YUP; Coogan nailed it.

Thanks for the info. I watched a chunk of what aired here (still have the last few unwatched on my dvr) and have been waiting for the eventual burn off. It's a shame that CN is distancing themselves from action, because GL and (especially) Clone Wars were capable of greatness. Also, Nick's TMNT is seriously amazing

They fly.

White chocolate isn't actually chocolate though. Also, given the show we're discussing, it's kind of a racist comparison.

Where did the Festrunks' quote come from?

That was such a large empty space that I honestly thought the page didn't fully load.

Has anyone here watched WWE Legends House? I asked a friend how it was and he responded with, "Roddy Piper is a crazy old man who told Gary Busey to go fuck himself and threatened a blender with violence before wandering into a field and howling at the moon." and now I need to see it. Hey AV Club, can we get a review

The description I was talking about was JK Rowling writing as a prefect describing Ravenclaw students in book-Hogwarts. Her description of students in Ravenclaw sound like the wizarding equivalent of people who would be in to comics.

There are a couple ways to go with this. I'd recommend going to their site and reading the summary of the past year or two. There was a crazy story where the company was shut down which was followed with a web series called The Ashes of CHIKARA (if it sounds familiar, it was promoted in some Dark Horse Comics issues).

That's super disappointing rating especially given how good that premise is.

Also Cosmos was on around 8 or 9, while ADHD was on at 11, sometimes starting even later because of sports. It's a show that's on at the same time as SNL; is it really more risque than that? I mean SNL had a sketch where the joke was that Seth Rogen raped a man and was trying to keep it a secret. Axe Cop ain't got
