This episode was like that really hard stale frito at the bottom of the bag that you almost break your teeth on but you keep trying to eat it because you're too lazy to take it out of your mouth.

Hmmm…..
I just want to put this out here: Isn't there something wrong with the fact that he is almost certainly not being fired for what he said, but the backlash it provoked?
Alec Baldwin's got to go, ya'll.
SNL does this all the time and it's infuriating. What about the end of the courtroom sketch when we find the whole thing was an ad for Maybelline? It just totally cheapens the comedy, and I'm not flattered by it.
I most agree with the Steve Carrel choice. The last seasons without him just prove that point so much more.
In the book during Celeste's narrative there's an interesting bit about how much Ziggy makes her uneasy, a subtle foreshadowing to finding out who his dad is. I felt like that could have done a little more with that storyline without making it too obvious.
Who is Rachel?
I wonder if they will let Melissa Villasenor showcase anything other than a straight player (which she is not very good at btw). She does a killer Maria Bamford impression, would love to see that somehow get worked in. Also Alex Moffat, and Mikey Day (who is currently just Taran Killam's sketch replacement)
No love for Happy Valley?
Not sure I get all the Alaska praise. Especially since you knocked Katya and Alyssa for having first looks that stood only to reveal their second looks.
not to mention carson kressly and todrick…
Just want to say that For Your Consideration was after A Mighty Wind and very good at that.
agreed re: katya's bjork. its a fun impression, but if youve seen it done much much better (even by winona ryder on snl back in the day) then you would say it kind of sucked
Couple of things:
All she does is stare and sit on couches
Fred Armisen would play me I think, and it would be magnificent.
Wow, great overview. I really liked the movie but didn't understand a lot of it and couldn't really say why I liked it. I want to watch it again now.
Honestly that might be a testament to how ridiculous I found the plot. I truly think the sex was going to happen regardless, but it was a first time and the sex lasted through the duration of the movie, so we kind of went on a journey together, the actors, my partner and I.
I thought the tone and mood of the film were alright I guess? The plot and the subsequent plot holes were maddening. What I will say: I had sex to the sounds of this movie and it worked somehow. So the score and sound editing I will give props to.
