You're saying this in hindsight though. You forget there were some pretty slow episodes on BB. I'm enjoying this thoroughly. So many people are in such a rush for the two shows to come to their junction. What for? Breaking Bad isn't coming back.

This plan they have hatched when they go to the state bar — have you noticed that every time one of the McGill brothers thinks he has the upper hand, the other one comes back with a surprise punch? Maybe this tape thing will be another one of those moments and will pave the way to Jimmy and Kim's disbarment. So Jimmy…
Oh here's a thought. This plan they have hatched when they go to the state bar — have you noticed that every time one of the McGill brothers thinks he has the upper hand, the other one comes back with a surprise punch? Maybe this tape thing will be another one of those moments and will pave the way to Jimmy and Kim's…
But we already know he enters the criminal world so that scene at PH isn't exactly a "hint" of what is to come. (I'm sorry I am was an English major and I tend to rely on my roots even when watching television.)
Saying that was foreshadowing is a stretch. I don't buy that Kim gets offed in this manner. Francesca doesn't get murdered does she? And she's ALL mixed up in it. (Honestly I don't know what ends up happening with her on BB.)
In season two she DID say something along the lines of jumping off a building. It may be nothing, it may be something. We were given the same sort of foreshadowing in Breaking Bad when Jesse's girlfriend joked about throwing up in her mouth one time and we all know how she met her ending.
I wasn't super worried about Kim up until I saw the Mesa Verde preview clip. I still don't see her as a casualty of the criminal/Saul connection, however, perhaps the loss of Mesa Verde will send her over the edge of a building? Thoughts?
But he hasn't even entered that realm yet!?
WHY would she get killed? Let's use common sense.
I say the same thing when I hear southern accents. Different areas of southern states have different accents and they almost never get them right. You just need to let it go and focus on the content.
You're too deep in BB. She's going to be packing her bags while she's defending Jimmy.
My dear, there are hundreds of comments here. I read plenty that leaned towards that assumption. Not all, some.
Why would she die?
Her leaving and taking her practice and her life elsewhere is bad?
I didn't mean she won't come out unscathed. I meant that whatever scathing she receives, which I'm sure will, she will come out of it like a boss.
But he's so meticulous and thoughtful. It has to be.
Yes true. I think she's going to be one step ahead and remove herself before anything like that happens. Then again we're in the world of Gilligan so anything could happen.
Breaking Bad was a completely different environment though. I mean lawyers are bad — but these were meth dealers and such.
I see a lot of comments about where "poor" Kim is going to end up after this. Have we been watching the same show? I think people are so accustomed to believing that us "poor" women need a Good Man to survive. No. They have already shown us enough of Kim that we should know and believe: that woman lands on her feet.…
Haven't we seen enough of Kim to know she always lands on her feet?? Surely I'm not alone in believing this.
