I might've missed something but why again would Tom James be acting president? Wasn't the VP to be acting president? Tom James is just Selina's running mate and hasn't been elected, Doyle is vice president. Or am I wrong? Please someone enlighten me.

You mean the presumably post- "hallway to hallway" interaction?

If ever someone deserved an Emmy (dare I say four), it's her for Selina Meyer. She's so great at portraying the usual self-control, -assurance and commanding presence in her body language and facial expressions one would expect of a (vice-) president but she always leaves glimpses for the viewer to see her actual

I must've missed that one and spontaneously burst out laughing. God, these people are all so horrible.

I came here to write this. It was an asset in the episode where Selina's mother died and they doubled down today, when she pointed the handheld at her face.
Amazing.

Arya can! As you probably already know, she is one of the dragon riders as well as a warg and can also solve a Rubik's cube in under 4 seconds.

Ugh, librarians are the WORST

Ugh, librarians are the WORST

I'd sure love to see a 75-year old die-hard Republican explain that science to me.

I watched that episode (The Mountain and The Vyper) again a few months ago. I have no idea, why I did that to myself.

Wow, that was horrible in a very good way. Also the Emmys for Female Leads are becoming increasingly boring.

Thanks for clearing that up. I am a lawyer myself, I'm just not particularly knowledgeable about the American justice system.
But I guess my "hunch", if you will, was correct. Yay me!

You underestimate the genius of David Milch

Being familiar with David Milch's process, I can only assume that whatever lands in the movie is going to be 30% script and 70% made up on the spot while filming.

When in doubt, always assume that Ian McShane just called someone a hooplehead.

First things first: If you kill off Ian McShane in his sole episode, then you can at least work in ONE cocksucker. Just ONE! Or "hoopleheads", even though I doubt that that would've made for a good fit.

Uh, I don't think I quite understand the DA-storyline.
So a business company defrauds from their clients in a way that sounds like a massive Ponzi scheme (6 million dollars that we know of) and the DA mandated to criminally prosecute refuses to do so because a) it's a lot of work and b) she doesn't like the victims of

Jon Benjamin or no one!

About the year-end-list:
I think it's a shame how sparsely the A.V. Club has been covering stand-up this past couple of years.
I'm from Germany and I'm especially dependent on it because I can never just go catch a show in my region. So I and others like me depend on websites like the A.V. Club to discuss, review and

I though so, too.
In fact, I think the movie scribe of the A.V. Club liked Civil War so much because it depended on a conflict between its strongest characters, a.k.a. their heroes, instead of depending on a rather bland villain.
